The first Federal Judge was laughing at NFL and their "so called evidence." And he found in Brady's favor. The appeals Judge's were only asked if Roger Goddell had the power to suspend Brady for anything. And based on the CBA that the players foolishly signed. They agreed that Goddell did have the power. Which is why Brady decided to stop fighting. I still have not seen any evidence that Tom Brady did anything wrong!

Katie Nolan is killing it. Kind of impressed she stood up to Chris Carter like that. Not in a sexist way it's just a lot of sports people (that didn't play the sport) don't have the guts to call people out like that in person. Max Kellerman lets himself get shut down all the time.

"Don't you think that if he wasn't guilty he wouldn't have taken it to the Supreme court?" Unravelling all the double negatives in this jumbled sentence is hard. Is she suggesting that if Brady was innocent he would've taken it to the Supreme court? If so, that's nonsense. If you actually followed the story you'd realise that by the second court hearing in N.Y. the case was no longer trying the facts of deflate-gate, but instead trying wether or not Goodell had the right to suspend Brady for any reason he liked (per the CBA). Taking it to the Supreme court would've done nothing at that point to establish Brady's innocence re: the accusation he had the balls deflated. It would've established whether or not Goodell had the right to suspend Brady at his own whim. Two totally different things.
I like how the panel doesn't even know what spygate actually was.... Not a violation for filming... but location

Carter has some good insights as an analyst and former player, but he's so naive and gullible it's embarrassing. If he sticks to what he sees on the football field, period, he adds value, but that's the only area.

This is the show that drove the great Katie Nolan off Fox Sports 1. She wanted her own guests for Super Bowl week and Fox forced her to have Chris Carter on, and hilarity ensued. I am a big fan of hers and always have been, and I miss Garbage Time (even though I would DVR it and the big Montana State basketball game would still be playing).

Paul Tagliabue was such a much better commish. He always seemed to have the most down to earth approach to different controversies. I think the difference was he actually cared about the players.
The NFL knew that Brady and the Patriots did nothing to the balls before this season even started. They measured the pressure in the balls last season and the same thing happened in all the cold weather games. The same thing happened because it's a law of nature. The NFL knew and couldn't publicize it because of the way they would look to the public. I've seen numerous experiments on how air pressure changes in footballs when the temperature of the ball changes and they all follow the same law of nature.

Edward Cho well garbage time has been on for over a year. But they have changed the content for Superbowl week. Cause she usually is by her self and maybe has a segment with a celeb. Cris Carter is not a HOF analyst. He is a HOF NFL WR and just so happens to be a garbage analyst. He deserved to be countered as soon as he brought up the "evidence". The NFL admitted in court they had no evidence of wrong doing and Ted Wells included in his report that Brady had fully cooperated. And yet, Tom Brady was suspended for 4 games because the 2nd district court of appeals deemed that Roger Goodell could suspend anyone for any length for any reason because that his the scope of his power granted in the CBA.

Carter is wrong here. Filled with "alternative facts" that have been either debunked or never proven. His experience as a player does not mask the fact he is misrepresenting what happened in spygate and deflategate.
