I love wearing white, it’s my favorite wardrobe “color” year-round. With winter fabrics, I usually have to compromise on ivory, but I try to get as much in true white in my wardrobe as possible. (The protein fibers, silk, wool, cashmere, etc. can’t be as aggressively bleached as the plant-based fibers like cotton and linen, and I don’t wear synthetics). I think everyone looks stunning in either white or ivory, depending on their skin undertone, cool or warm, respectively. Yesterday I wore an all-ivory outfit and gots lots of compliments. I can’t wait to wear my spring/summer true whites, and fortunately, “Brilliant White” is a Pantone-predicted color this season, so it should be more widely available. Ivory/cream has dominated for years.
