@@skzftw2489 it's not that HE is underrated, his dance is. Everyone knows that he's a great dancer and all, but literally everyone refers to him as the deep voice of the group. Don't get me wrong, I love his voice and I love how skz use it in their music, I just never understood that fascination, like when people say that 'omg he sounds like a demon', and I'm like... No? He sounds like a normal human being?
Stays mostly appreciate all of the boys, which is great, I don't see that in every fandom, unfortunately, but sometimes they appreciate them in a very weird way.
I just want fans to look at them as a whole, not concentrate on one single trait, yk

Felix really does have his own flavor when he dances, never out-shadowed by Lee Know and Hyunjin. Whenever he’s in the center position, it felt deserved because his whole being commands attention, from top of his head to his tippy toes.

I've always thought that FELIX is a extraordinary dancer. He tries to improve all the time. For me, the 2nd Best dancer in SKZ. And his vocals! One of the most outstanding members.

Many people only talk about his deep voice and sweet personality when it comes to Felix or when danceracha is spoken they just act like it's hj and minho. But Felix has great dancing skills and he was a dancer before predebut. It's sad that his talents are being ignored. He is a very very good dancer, very good rapper and he has an angelic vocal. Also he is lyricist. He's super talented. I'm so glad someone noticed it. Thanks for this video. I hope stays talks more about his talent now.
I’m glad you talked about this. People only talk about his voice and think that’s the main role he plays in the group: the unique voice. But like you said, he usually starts or ends performance and it’s not the voice but his overall stage presence and charisma. Like in their Cheese performance in MAMA 2021, with his small frame, he stood out so well among the tall dancers (and I think the tall dancers were a deliberate choice), yet he looked so powerful.
Felix talked about how he learns "slow", he said that maybe it was because he focuses on details a lot.
Felix's dance moves are so sharp, clean and energetic that make us satisfying to watch.
Felix's dance underrated in DANCERACHA
i dont think ive seen anyone connect felix's background in taekwondo to his dance style in depth like you did! this was all super informative and interesting, a lot of the stuff mentioned i never thought about. i always peg felix as the powerful, bold dancer in danceracha but this is a whole new perspective!

Thank you for the analysis!! I watched Hyunjin’s and Lee Know’s a while ago and I was waiting for this one because I know how Felix is usually overlooked when it comes to dancing. Most people focus on his deep voice and forget that he’s still a big part of danceracha. His clean and precise movements always catch my eye and his consistency when showcasing taekwando moves is so satisfying to me. It’s also amazing how he can do so many stunts in their choreography’s and look effortless doing it. His voice is amazing but I definitely want more people to recognize his dancing skills as well as he continues to grow and put in effort on all aspects of his performance.
Felix's jumps and kicks are so remarkable.. It's simply hard to do like him without having legs like his precious ones.
Felix's dance skills are so underrated just bc people only focus on the other danceracha members dance, that's so unfair bc Felix it's a really really good dancer and has literally everything, his way of dancing it's amazing, so fluent and he puts all his energy on it, he's amazing. I love how Felix's dancing is based on his years of learning Taekwando. It's just really cool to see his precise movements being off of a martial art. Plus, Felix's amazing performance comes from his overall skills. From his stage presence to his singing to his dancing. He excels in all but alot of people never appreciate his dancing skills. But what's more important is that, when you notice how clean and impactful his dancing is you can't stop looking at him.

He is my favourite dancer of the group! Especially for the past 2 years he's perfect
Felix is the fairy of the beginning and ending. This has been a well-known fact for a long time. And skz use it perfectly. For example, when they were divided into units and wrote separate songs (I mean the Surfin song), Changbin immediately said: "I want you, Felix, to start and finish the clip in our clip."
When it comes to dancing, he honestly has extremely clean lines and movements. It's not always easy to complete a step given the complexity in their choreography however he does it effortlessly. Apart from his amazing voice, he is one of the best dancers I have seen. Thank you for recognising his talent and making this video. You made my day 😍

Yeah that vlive were he and his band mates were dancing fast to back door and he did it so smoothly. I’ve always noticed how super fast he is and this analysis makes complete since now. Since he has speed and perfect accuracy is that why he did a lot of kingdom stunts? Idk every time skz is performing I always gravitate towards Felix

Thanks so much for this analysis. It's easy to get distracted by Felix's unique voice and presence, but we all know he wouldn't be in Danceracha if he didn't have the skills.
I love how each of your Stray Kids videos really shows the unique charms of each dancer. Your use of evidence really clarifies it, and I find these videos fascinating.
I noticed he had a specialty of fighting moves and acrobatics, but there's no way I would've noticed the other more subtle differences without your keen attention to detail and calling them out. One more reason to LOVE our Felix.
Thank you for putting efforts on this video about Felix's dance skills. Most people didn't recognize him as the best dancer because of his other superb things like deep voice, warm personality, menga like visual and cuteness. He deserves more praises for his dancing and more stages to show off.

I think it’s because all the straykids members dance well and thus people don’t actually realize how well Felix dances but when you look into the details, you’ll realize how clean Felix’s dance movements are❤

You got me curious about various techniques (locking etc). I only have background in latin dancing, but I'm a k-pop enthusiast, so what I didn't know was ... well, a lot.

Also, in terms of locking, I believe Hyunjin also specializes in that style, so it translates to his kpop dancing too! That's why he's sharp, clean and agile.

I thought the same about his athletic agility! He and Ateez’s San both have some experience in tae kwon do and it’s not hard to notice the graceful turns and impressive footwork they bring to a performance
FINALLY A DANCE ANALYSIS VID ABOUT FELIX!!
Whenever I watch Felix's fancams, I noticed a lot how his lower body has cleaner and powerful moves on explosive movements. I agree how Side Effects is a great choreo to really see the extent of Felix's skills are. What I love the most on his dancing is he uses speed and how it still clear with his angles. It shows so much how his background in taekwondo became a big factor to his dancing- and that what makes it interesting.
Again, I love this analysis videos so much, I'm binge watching all of it. I hope you can come across to some girl group main dancers too, I bet many people would love it as well. I would love to see a former Izone Lee Chaeyeon dance analysis and what makes her dance so attractive. It might take a while, I understand, you can or not put it in your options, fine by me. I am very grateful that you have made this video, I hope that many fans and other people can open their eyes to Felix's talent. I always feel Felix is very underrate because many people prefer to talk about other members. Even in some videos that should focus on Felix, many comments on the video about other members.
Don't get me wrong, i love all members, but its sad to see that people not aware of other members talented of stray kids. (not just by the visual, voice or other things).
A lot of fans have been getting called out for that especially the fans of a certain member. They constantly bring up the unrelated member to be rude on purpose. And thankfully I’ve been seeing less of that nonsense.

I used to perceive that Felix is shorter than other members in the group but in fact he has an average height. No comment for his Felix because he is one of the talented dancer inthis band.
After watching 3 main danceracha, i have no regret that they are my main.

And this was indeed really interesting to watch. I am really happy that someone finally has covered felix's dancing like that 🤍 (+ I had already observed how felix especially shines during footwork + his good flexibility, therefore seeing you analizing and explaining that was very informative.
