They’re very good speakers, but if we’re talking GREATEST, I personally think the Rock, John Cena, and Chris Jericho have the edge.

Aew. Hires washed up Has beens nothing more nothing less. Losers. These old men are old farts. Cody Rhodes couldn’t wrestle in wcw. And can’t wrestle today. Arn can’t fight no more.
Love the fact that they allow the talent/employees to act as the audience. It’s nowhere near as awkward or uncomfortable as complete silence.
I completely agree. Their ad libs during the different promos throughout the show are excellent.

Arn has always been one of the best at promos much like Jake because he doesn't need to shout to get our attention and treats every word like a gospel shoot. And if he does deliver a genuine real shoot like his legendary retirement it can make even the best break character, bringing his best friend to tears.

Just a guess, but I think Tony missed the spot. He was probably supposed to get between them until the refs arrived. It's obvious there was nothing stopping them prior to the arrival of the refs.

Honestly these two on the microphone cut a better promo better than more than 75 percent of the roster in AEW
In professional wrestling you need to have performers being on their own in the ring. Yes, you have guidelines, and bullet points, and agents and all; but the one of the major things that makes wrestling fascinating is wrestlers calling it in the ring, coming up with their own promos, and really putting their heart and soul in it because this is who they are. This right here, this is what wrestling is all about.
AEW is proving you very wrong in my opinion. It's plainly obvious that they lack structure in their stories. It would probably surprise you to know that not that many performers are really that creative IRL. They may think they are but the truth is they need scripts for a reason. You don't want the actors writing the TV show, think about it. Writers exist for a reason.
That would have been a great feud back in the day!

It became obvious to me. Just a gut feeling. I believe Iron Mike was a Jake the Snake fan during 80’s WWF when they were both huge household names too! tbh i think that's because no promotion has ever had the talent be trained on how to work the mic properly some don't need the training but a lot of these guys/girls do need better mic skills and i mean this for every promotion take WWE's women's division for example still sounds like diva promos and the men's promos all sound like a bunch of jobbers trying to act tough only to get buried later down the line not saying all of them are bad but my god
