I love albums with stories, frickin brilliant
The short is a perfect loop as well. I been making music for 20 years and these little nuance's are perfect artistic touches
đ€Ł it isnât a perfect loop and a lot of short lakers does this and zero in any creative way.
@@blowc1612 uh ok? its still cool tho

"IGOR is a perfect musical loop"
*Dark Side of the Moon having the same heartbeat at the beginning and end and only having one or two times the songs don't flow between each other*
Both, both is good
This is about Igor though
Same with The Wall. The loop indicates that the wall is never ending.
igoe better tho
The album stops at the song The Great Gig in the Sky because itâs the last song on the first side of the album. It must stop because you physically have to flip the album to continue. (Nevermind the profile pic)
Also in the album, the protagonist basically goes through the stages of grief; denial, bargaining, anger, depression and acceptance.
Perfect 10/10 album
Nonagon Infinity as well. Except that one never stops. Itâs one continuous album length epic, that loops forever.
I don't understand what you mean by "expect that one never stops"? How does this one stop? Or how does any "loop" stop? That's the point of a loop, is it continuously goes on forever..
@@johnbaca80 it means that it applies to each individual song in the album too
@@johnbaca80 Tyler each song is cut off differently, except for the last and first track, while nonagon infinity the track continues from track one to track nine seamlessly, hence why it's called nonagon infinity (nonagon means 9 sided polygon)
Cole, you cheeky cheek....... i love these. pls do a million more.
I just wanna say, this channel is nonstop bangers. I have so much more appreciation for music I had never listened to before, and my Spotify playlist gets longer by the day. Thank you for that.
Theres definitely more to it. There are so many patterns of synths that i found myself playing this album in shuffle and it was felt like each song connnected to the next one. No matter how it was shuffled. The transitons at the end of each track as well as the start of each track are so flawless. So many permutations of how this album can be played. Thats why its great. When you can shuffle the album any which way and it still sound good, you know its great
My favorite example of this is Donuts by J Dilla, one of the best instrumental hip hop albums ever. he produced it while on his death bed so the idea of the album looping forever is really beautiful to me, it's like he poured his soul into the beats and lived forever through them.
Tyler is just amazing, there's no other explanation
so idk but i was wondering so here you go. IGOR album in order:
1. IGORâS THEME
2. EARFQUAKE
3. I THINK
4. EXACTLY WHAT YOU RUN FROM YOU END UP CHASING
5. RUNNING OUT OF TIME
6. NEW MAGIC WAND
7. A BOY IS A GUN*
8. PUPPET
9. WHATâS GOOD
10. GONE, GONE / THANK YOU
11. I DONâT LOVE YOU ANYMORE
12. ARE WE STILL FRIENDS?
please correct me if iâm wrongđđ
6 SECOND CROSS FADE NEEDS TO BE ENABLED IN SPOTIFYâS PLAYBACK SETTING TAB
Kanye did this with 808 and heartbreak and the heart âbeatâ in âSay You Willâ is featured throughout the album.
One of my favorite albums is a musical loop, but not a narrative loop. Still, it's an incredible work of art. I'm talking about "Fantastic Planet" by Failure.
Kids dont even know what theyre missing!
Wow! Less than a minute into the album and I was already digging it. And then I got to Segue 1 and damn. Itâs very 90âs grunge but a super unique take on the genre. Thanks for mentioning it!
Ever listen to King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard? Theyâre a more current group that has a looping album called Nonagon Infinity that I would strongly recommend.
don't mind me, just placing a ward to come seek these bands later
@@finonevado8891 in case you need a notification to bring you back to the thread later, this is a response.
YESSSS I love Failure!
God tier shit.
igor is one of my favorite albums of all time, and I genuinely love when Tyler connects his songs, it makes the entire album a whole experience.
And thatâs how..another igor loop
This even fits in the themes of call me if you get lost when he said that the girl that he fell in love with was just another book of lovers which plays in to the theme of Tyler running in circles and never being able to find the perfect relationship
POV: this is the 20th time you seen this
i started listening to tyler the creator from my twin and my life has never been the same (in a good way)
Ahh i see what you did there

edit(the mac miller album is a loop too)
Bb is the fourth of F major so technically it ends on a IV chord which means this ends in a conclusive plagal cadence and not an inconclusive half cadence.
Wait a minute, Tyler gay???đ€šđđŸââïž

I had no idea that tyler was even interested in men until a couple weeks ago. Cool that being attracted to the same sex is becoming not that big of a deal anymore
Especially in the hip-hop scene!
Didnât Tyler mock his friend Frank Ocean for being gay? Maybe he was just projecting. You never know with Tyler.
@@InfernoCA I think he was joking.
the fact that someone is gay literally doesnât matter anymore. case in point: lil nas x. bro didnât come out the closet, bro blew the closet wide the fuck open. and now heâs richer than a lot of modern rappers so no, being gay doesnât matter anymore. at this point, itâs better to be gay than straight
@@nahmirbriefs6968not really... Homophobia is still a big deal
I see what you did at the end. His album is an infinite loop just like your explanation on this video
I love this album more than anything on this world bro. Itâs what made me a huge Tyler the creator fan
This man is such a musical genius, the goat đđ„
Having this theory hit me like a ton of bricks, I cant believe I never thought about the cylical nature of it. Especially after going through something similar when the album itself dropped. I didn't learn my lesson after listening. Now I know đ

Very reminiscent of how Dream Theater would end an album, and start the next with the exact same note as the previous one ended on. Very cool!
I love Dream Theater!!!!
Tyler is a musical genius, And you are a genius for the explanation and that perfect loop.
Yet we donât talk about albums like Lemon Demonâs spirit phone, an album that perfectly loops and each track bleeds into the next.
I love that album personally, it just doesn't have the same mainstream appeal that Tyler's music does, its far more niche
Imagine if Igor was about Tyler liking ASAP Rocky but Rocky likes Rihanna
