- The largest medieval battle fought between the Teutonic Order and the Polish Army. The two large armies fought with each other on July 15th 1410 what would be know as the Battle of Grunwald. For the 600th Anniversary of the battle, a lego reenactment of the battle was done by me.
My nostalgia is overloading omfg
Same lol
where is the part when Lithuania comes back ? half of battle is cut ...
Good battle. Making lego battles, as I have learnt, is an extremely daunting task, and you do it very well. And nice alternative to a shortage of Lego horses :)
Lubie tu wracać❤️
4:04-5:45
"Bogurodzica"
I don't watch these Lego things often, but i love history and this was AWESOME. really put together well. I can't imagine how much work went into it.
That was great we'll done with your improvisation and awesome animations. 9 out of 10 good job :)
Ekstra, widać że stało za tym sporo pracy, podoba mi się też jak zastąpiłeś brakujące konie
Even though you seem like a beginner you are definetely the best medieval war video maker ever. :D
the lithuanians didnt look like that, these are only the tatars. And where is the part where lithuanians come back? its why the allies win.
same but our biggest battle was at Vienna, we had many thousands of Winged Hussars to save the Holy Roman Empire with Jan Sobieski!
Niech żyje Polska!
You earned a sub sir
Greetings from Germany 😉👍🏻
Mimo iż film ma 13lat to nadal wywołuje pozytywne emocje i ciarki na plecach
Pure nostalgia, Hail to the fallen Poles Lithuanians and Germans...
Coś pięknego! Gdy krzyżacy zdobyli na chwilę Chorągiew Krakowską pękałem ze śmiechu!
Dzięki, że wyraźnie widać Chorągiew Lwowską! Aleksander Ford nam jej nie pokazał! :-D
Dlaczego pękałeś ze śmiechu gdy krzyżacy zdobyli chorągiew Krakowską?
@@hungryhamster4567 Bo wiedziałem, że to tylko na chwilę. 😉
As a polish and lithuanian, it's cool to see the legendery battle of grunwald. Well made :)
the largest lego battle of Europe consisted of like 10 men on each side.
Nicely done. That's alot of figures moving at once. Not bad. I really like how you replicated the painting at the end.
9:00 poland one win grunwald? where is lithuania, smolenck(russia) czechs tartars?
oh sory 8:46
I think that this is great video, it can be hard to find quality lego stop motions sometimes, and personaly i dont think that the fps rate is as important as accuracy and story. great job
My favorite parts are when they talk.
To jest jeden z pierwszych filmików których oglądałem na youtoubie, te wszystkie lata temu.
Oh holy shit I remember this
Renaissance time is considered when powder guns and cannons come out.
awesome work ! i love this battle
Wow, I hear you used sounds from film "Krzyzacy" - which based on book with the same title.
;) I think all Poles are thankful for this video
Very cute DIY horse.
It's funny when it said 1 hour later but the characters were in the exact same spot as they were before it said 1 hour later.
Just to inform you people that Friday July 15 2011 was the 601st anniversary of the Battle of Grunwald.
I am Polish but winged hussars only existed in the 17 th century not in the medieval ages. Those in this video were mostly the golden horde, polish retrainers and Polish Knights.
it was AMAZING!!!!!!! I wish I had the minifigs to do this! loooooooooved it! except for the creepy singing.... i liked it but it lasted too long for my taste :P
I'm from Lithuania and it's very good
No
Teutonic coat of arms were unchanged since they moved from the Holy Land. Polish White Eagle and Lithuanian Chaser are signs of Crown of Poland and Grand Duchy of Lithuania so I can't see any mistake. :-)
Grunwald is named also as the first battle of Tannenberg and realy was the largest medieval battle with international powers on both sides, even Germans on the Polish-Lithuanian side and Poles of Piast ancestry on the German side.
The figs are amazing !
Memories
Where are you from?
I am from Poland :D
Laki Luk I'm your neighbour )
Lviv, Ukraine))
Laki Luk I am from Poland too
I live in a country that sounds like banana
CANADA!!!!
I am from germany
I'm from Lithuania
my friend is polish. he really liked it
Wht a great history lesson...
I saw the recreation of this battle in lithuanian (understood exactly nothing of it) on some other channel and there is one thing that hurts the most - who the fuck puts archers and artillery in the first line? The Teutons (and their allies) do. Lithuanian charge basically wiped the floor with them and ran off (taking half the Teuton force with them since they gave chase) which gave a lot of room for the Polish force to tackle the infantry that remained. Downhill battle from there on for the +'s
Hah, na początku jest muzyka z Twierdzy Krzyżowiec, potem z Mount and Blade: Warband... Całkiem pomysłowe. Szacun!
This vid is the best lego vid ever
Shut the frick up
Genialny film i świetne minifigurki
👍👍👍
The Polish also had large wings attached to look more intimidating
The Papillon Warrior there were no winged hussars at that time
Strange, in this one polish sanctuary in my state, there is a winged hussar stature dedicated to the battle of grunwald
Conrad Von Hötzendorf Oh, I understand. Thanks!
Nice but you forgot to show Lithuania's tactical retreat where Lithuania's cavalry charged from the back of the TO forces.
damn, hats off to this guy.
One of the hitting noises was the crowbar hitting metal from hl1!
I really liked the creativity you had. Even thougg u didn't have enough horses u made fake ones. That's briliant good job
creativ use of lego car tires:) ... a hat :)
Nice job stop motion.. Good job!
Cool i see you put on some medieval 2 battle songs great movie to!
3:01 Half Life Crowbar sound 😆😆
i thought "meh i like lego i'll watch" it started *checks oatmeal comic for updates*
Krzesimir Debski - Obrona Zbaraża
Enjoy. :)
i want to see way!!! MORE of this please more your so good
one word. EPIC
stronghold music :D
The largest battle in Europe was in Napoleon times when the French launch a invasion on Russia
great video
nope. Early renaissance covered Italian states but was declared as renaissance in the 17 th century when gunpowder became very popular.
Wut?
I didn't know medieval soldiers sang this much during battle.
:P
awesome dude
mniemam że ta ostatnia muzyka to soundtrack z ogniem i mieczem ; zrób coć o husarii
ALthough the quality wasnt exactly the best, this is still awesome as fuck! It was amazing.
this is awesome i like it so much
awesome battle :D
The battle of tanenberg happened because of samogitian rebelion...
Great job!
Very Well Done!
Fajnie że ktoś z innego kraju interesuję się polską(nice that someone from another country interested in Polish
Awesome, just awesome!
thx za ten film
no Battle of Vienna is but I agree with you!
Piękny film
It's "Their" not "there"
Their: Ownership of multiple people/creatures
There: Usually describes a general area of a place.
i am Lithuanian! nice vid
Yeahhh....... you caught me. But it's still a pretty good lego movie, this one and the other one. Won't you agree? =D
6:12 is so cool!
this is awesome
im so subscribingh now :)
The title is misleading, this absolutely NOT the largest Lego medieval battle
Srry i was rong that is the polish flag and the polish armor srry i was rong figured that out that medieval 2 total war, realy nice video ;)
Yeah they did but they were weak. Joan of Arc used cannons against the British in the 10th century
Awesome
@DancingMedicineMan The Mongolians (actually: the Tatars) took part in the battel of Grunwald (Tannenberg), as some of them were vasals to Vitold, the Graet Duke of Liuthenia. So it's all coherent with history:)
Brawo! :) Gudboy
coooooooooooooooooooooollllllllllllllllll and epic
Kto wraca po latach? :)
ja
this is the best medevil stop motion ever you rock you earned a sub(:
Look up Brick dictator
@Swedenkid97
Its named Bogurodzica. It was made in medieval times.
Lithuania and Belarus also fought in this battle and if there was only Poland they would have been defeated easily.
The lutinannin that I spelled wrong didn't really help in this vid at all
Was hoping to see hundreds of minfigiures.
THATS WHAT SHE SAID
This is inspired in total war
1:06 Battle starts here.
Funny horse ^^
Borders of renaissance are not so clear. Most historians say (especially european), that this time is not so crucial and it is continuation of medieval era. And battle of Grunwald was in 1410, not 1420 :).
Cheers.
@Hackymac eagle flag :P but dialoges are from KRZYZACY movie so those guys witch cross flag also are talking in polish
can I have your permission to remake this. because I would love to take try at it
