I like your videos, you're certainly not afraid to get your hands dirty and get things fixed. I have an '05 which I'm keeping forever as well. Over the years I've changed or modified just about everything and now just enjoy the truck as a summer toy.

Thanks, I appreciate it! Can’t learn if you don’t try! That’s awesome, I’m sure eventually I will have done the same with this truck

Great job Man thanks for the details I Appreciate the work and quality of picture.
I know when updating the Power steering pump on these 3rd gens we have options. if I'm not mistaken there is an original style pump that has a c-clip on the side with a threaded shaft that is no longer manufactured but could be re-manufactured, and new style pump with 6 bolts on the side and only a smooth shaft that the pully only presses on.
With the New Style pump will the OEM PS lines bolt on or will you need adapters to correct thread differences.
Do you know If there is a different pully & shaft size differences. From what i gather on the new style pump the pully needs to be centered correctly on the shaft to make sure it is inline with the Belt and other pulleys or it will walk off.
It has been hard to find info on to put all this together before I get started Do you have info on those issues. Sorry for the long question myman you seem to have been down this road and I am just getting started on the PS pump, new Blue top PS gearbox, borgenson steering shaft, and all new PS lines. I am seeing some issues in advance i want to get worked out if possible.

Thank you for your comment, I appreciate it.
To be honest this is the first one I have ever done. The OEM PS lines hooked right up to the updated 6.7 PS pump with no issues and haven’t had any issues since. For the pump I had just ordered the pulley that was for it and pressed it on full depth. The belt lined up fine and I haven’t had any issues with it walking off.
Hopefully this answers your questions, if not let me know and I’ll try get a better answer for you. Also check out the second video on this if you haven’t yet, might answer some of it for you.

@@boosthuntergarage Thanks for the Reply, I checked out the 2nd part after I messaged you HAHA LOL.
I Think you Answered my questions. If you pressed that pully on all the way to bottom and it lined up, I'll go with that. I might put them side by side trace the foot on a piece of paper with the bolt holes marked, then place the new one over and line up the bolt holes then I will measure up to see if i have any differences in dimensions. If the PS lines bolted right onto the threads of the new style pump for you that is good info. I'll hit you up if I have any questions.
I really appreciate it great job on the VIDS MAN!!

Will a new track bar help with suction and sway when pulling a 24 ft trailer? 2005 dodge ram 2500 cummins. I've changed the drag link, tie rods, and ball joints in the front and still cannot get rid of the suction and swaying when vehicles pass on the highway.

I don’t know for sure but from what I’ve read and seen in videos, aftermarket track bars are suppose to help lots with the truck wandering. They have a more solid joint on them, that will take away the play in the joint. Possible other upgrades that could help would be a steering box brace or upgraded steering dampener. Hopefully this is helpful for you.
