    Thank you for making this video. I ran my 28" few days ago with Auger at ECO and at the fastest wheel speed through 1/12" medium wet snow over 12,500ft/2.7miles/3.81KM around the neighborhood sidewalk after clearing my own 4 car driveway and 100ft of curb. With the larger diameter and much taller chute it definitely threw the snow much further away than the SNT2406 did in ECO auger speed. The joystick was a TREAT to use even with one finger but can use a bit more resistance as it was easily bumped just driving through larger bumps. It's the first time I was able to walk the entire sidewalk with 2 path around my entire neighborhood while able to make it back and still have left over charge to clear the chute/auger with TURBO on for over a minute. With the same test multiple times in the past two snow seasons, I usually will have to stop at 2/3 of the distance and driving back home without the auger running as the low battery red light flashing at one bar. One thing for sure is I don't wish to push this unit in the snow when it's out of battery as it's much...MUCH heavier than the 24" unit. I do like the deeper battery bays that allows the batteries to be ejected from the terminals while still able to keep the battery cover fully closed to keep the snow out while I brush off the snow before putting it into the garage. Looking forward to put the unit in regular usage in the near future this snow season.

    I understand what you are doing, but does it have a reverse?

    • @randomrazr
      @randomrazr  Před 8 měsíci +1

      it does. i chose not to use it just to see and experience how well one can manually move this . i find it faster to just yank it back then to move the lever into reverse and pressing the main wheel lever down lol its still a hefty machine tho. it can reverse as fast as it can move forward and the wheels arent locked ona. single axle so it can manuever and rotate around easily.

      @@randomrazr You don't have to put it in reverse. Use the Zamboni method: go down the middle, turn in the direction opposite of the way the chute was pointing. Go back down, turn around again, and so on. You never have to use reverse, and you never have to turn the chute.

    Could have cleared that with the 765 blower. What a waste.

      a blower wouldnt have worked in this case. half the snow was wet packing from being left on the driveway over the day with the sun out and then the top half is fluffy snow. normally in this circumstance i would have manually shovled it all into a single line of piles and then use the snow bloweer to blast it all onto the grass . ive tried leaf blowers before but this area is prone with winds so it gets blown all around . works great on clearing snow off a car tho!
