I’m convinced he just make videos to piss welders off
Was thinking the same thing.
Non c'è altra spiegazione

Show a technique with marker and done other... Why???
You make sentence stupid… Why?
What you're seeing here is completely flawed welding job.
Previous to tacking the 2 pieces together. A grinded bevelled edge on either side needed to be done, allowing penetration for the weld. Also the pen marking showed weaving which was not done in the video. The operator was simply stop starting. This process would fail a welding xray once tested.
To get you to comment. It’s a tactic used by these “creators” to force their channels into the algorithm. They’ll do something like the marker thing or mispel an esey word just to get someone to correct them or get out ragged by it. It bumps their videos bc they’re getting more clicks . Hence more views hence a few more dollars. It’s honestly sick. Like have you heard the video “yo guys …. Loook what I even found in my dads room…… is this a gloock?” Just mind melting nonsense. Hell I have made videos that takes hours and nothing. Made a video just now of a lawn mower running and it’s got 10000 views in an hour. They are making money by making dumber and dumber content. It’s bad
@@T.M....what you’re seeing is a guy who knows what he’s doing getting you to comment on his video for views . That’s all. He knows how I’m sure. He’s doing this on purpose
He actually show 2 different techniques then used the bullshit one
Párese ,déjenlo ser 😊
Guys, he can’t do anything else because he can’t control the heat with every car battery in the village hooked together.
Oh shit😂🤙🏽💯
More precise current control can be achieved by utilising the fine current ajustment (fencing wire series resistor) feature on your new welding machine. This in combination with the two, three or four car battery selections, will give you the 50 or so O.C. volties you'll need to lght and re-light those pesky low hydrogen sticks that you all should be using for the more serious structural jobs like, repairing broken crank and cam shafts, truck axles and gear box input shafts to name a few.
😂😂😂
Motherfuckin HAAAAAAAAAAAAAA Comment of the century
Keine Qualität!Fusch!
Hopefully in a couple years when actually welds he can think back and be like " did i really post this on youtube ? " 🤣🤣🤣
Imagine how good it could have been if you could only run a proper bead
That would be nice to see one continuous bead for once😱
That would require knowledge of Amp settings, electrode type/size selection, and actual practice. I'm not a pro, but I know enough to conclude there are better ways than the "Tackmaster Flash" technique...
You demonstrated one technique with your marker then done your typical useless spot weld trash
I know nothing about welding. Care to explain a little more to me?
The type of welds shown in this video is a really bad technique from someone that clearly doesnt know how to weld. The weld has no penetration, so it wont hold up much force.
@@samv6767yeah I could excuse the tack welding to just stick the two together long enough for him to lay down an actual good weld. But come on
@@obiwanfisher537the proper technique would be to tack it like he did, then weld it as drawn with the marker in a single continuous weld.
The rods are encased in something to protect your welding bath from oxygen, leaving slack behind. That's what he removes in the end, but by not removing it every single time, some slack may get trapped leaving you with inclusions weakening the weld.
So tack, remove slack, thinner rod, less amperage, one continuous weld, remove slack, finished.
If some of my words are not the correct terms, I am sorry, english is not my native language.
@@derewe2094 Dunno, english is my second language, too. And on top of that I am not familar with welding terms anyway, but I think I got what you mean. Basically, he dotted the thing and created weaknesses like that, but he should have welded it in one contact.
@@roman_mehan8853 да инвертор.
Nice porosity.
It keeps water from building up! 😎
Actually wasn't any. Still a trash weld.
@jjjordan3881 Get some glasses son.
Slag makes a good filler too lol
If the trick was "how to do an improper weld" then you nailed it.
When a beginner welder shows a beginner welder his trash!
Agreed! I don't know what's up with this start stop BS all over CZcams, but that's not how you weld. ITS TRASH! It's not gonna hold shit.
I'm 14 and do better
I’m still in my first semester of trade school so maybe I’m missing something, but why for the love of all that is holy can you not just run a straight fucking bead.
He would burn through if he ran a straight stinger as is. But he could switch from DCEN to DCEP and use a small diameter electrode with less amps and easily run a stringer
You show one technique but then decided to stitch weld instead... if your concern is blowout turn down amperage and use a smaller diameter rod. Stitch welds are viable on something only if it isn't expected to bare a load... so ornamental or artsy shit... but if that 45 is expected to take any pressure your going to want full penetration that comes with a full run of either a C circle or J hook... hell a slow zigzag will provide more penetration then a stitch...
Still didnt see any porosity pockets or slag deposits in your end result so theres that i guess.
Also good on you for brushing your work before beginning the weld... remember that prepwork makes all the difference.
Glad you're giving pointers, I'm sure it means a lot in this world(welding)
@@Loki_Dokie I like seeing people get into the trades ether for work or just to have the skill in one's own toolbox... I just want to ensure it's done properly because dispite something looking bound with a decent "cap" weld or being ground and sanded flush to look like one piece the area has the potential to be much weaker then the parent metal... and if that piece is to be relied upon could lead to critical failure which can lead to injury...
@@Rageofthemohawk ya definitely, I'm a lifetime supporter of life-long learning. I want to learn to weld but I'm not sure if going ultra cheap on the unit would help me learn at least for now.
@@Loki_Dokie weld honestly there are people out there that have learned on say a Hobart or other sort of harbor freight sort of set up and it does have some advantages as with the equipments quirks and Brakedowns you really have to get a keen understanding of the mechanics of your system... it may only like a particular type or diameter of wire or perhaps it doesn't like a certain amperage dispite that being within the factory limits... so it is one method of starting out. Personally I've gained most of my equipment from old timers that are getting out and retiring... typically it's good equipment in relatively good condition since they made a living with it, and it is usually what was considered high tier for the era... my opinion tends to land on get relatively good equipment since it tends to give you less trouble starting out... and the old adage holds true take care of your equipment and it'll take care of you.
You also need to decide what welding you want to start out with... personally I started out on oxy acetylene in a classroom setting and it's really good means of teaching basic touch control and even feeding control and manipulation... from there moved into wire feed and eventually found my stride and preferences in stick welding... I have my bias and I feel stick is the best everyman welding with the most versatility, but one should learn the basics of as many welding operations as possible to both understand the underlying principles and techniques... lastly prep work in terms of your material is vital... making sure your cut or bevel is clean and free of debris is good practice and gives you the best chance for success...

This welding Not good
Parabéns meu amigo continue sempre assim mostrando seu trabalho
I have no interest in welding or building stuff but I subbed to follow your journey because I’m genuinely interested in watching your growth. And to keep encouraging you and watch your back.
All of this guy's examples are how NOT TO WELD. Every time you stop, and start, slag is deposited in the weld. Also the melt doesn't penetrate the steel. Hold the rod close to perpendicular to get the heat to penetrate the steel.
Every weld this guy shows would get you fired at any competent welding company. If you weld something and ten years later it breaks and kills someone, YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE.
@@carpediemarts705 thank you 🙏 you’re the first to give constructive advice to him compared to others who know how but would rather tear him down instantly with critical comments rather than offer some valuable tips to help him improve. @@homebuddhathe thing is these guys arent trying to get better. They'll purposely weld it stong just to get negative comments cause comments help him with the algorithm. This could even be someone elses video.
Hey, keep up the great work, you'll get there someday
I love how theres so many welding videos where they just do a series of tacks and call in a "crazy new welding technique that nobody uses"
Wont hold, you cannot manipulate a stick weld consisting of ANY 60- rod and expect strength, also why not follow your original plan? Those jumbled tack welds had ZERO heat in them and you trapped so much slag doing it like that. You cleaned off your tack welds and still proceeded with this other technique. Shabby.
No wonder these kids come in and demand 30 an hour 🤦🏽♂️
I doubt anyone with more than 2 braincells follow this
As newbie I'm willing to test this out to see how well it holds. I enjoy the video nonetheless 🥰

Love your talent 😊
I think nonwelders just repeat what actually welders say. So many experts online anymore who comment from their race car beds. Keep getting better. I always find it funny when the OGs talk to much shit to the new guy. Just let’s me know how bad they were ragged on when they were an apprentice. They got goofed on bad. They wonder why they cant get any new blood into the trade and why people are so quick to leave the union anymore.
But like you realize this IS a bad weld right? Like im in hs and im in CTE and they literally tell you its a bad weld and show you why
