Fans of both K-pop groups reacted enthusiastically to the news, and it will be interesting to see how this announcement influences the careers of both artists in the months to come. The painting shown is a famous one showing Eros (Cupid) Ava Psyche. Hoyeon is Eros and the guy is Psyche. At the end of side A, Eros becomes mortal so she can be with him. At the end of side B, Aphrodite (Tony Leung) sets things back to the way they're supposed to be. In Get Up, Eros goes to the Fates (NewJeans), but they just keep doing their thing.
BTW - Tony Leung donated his time, which is pretty cool of him.
I highly recommend people check out the recording session videos and the ETA dance behind the scenes video where they show the creation of the choreo - the members came up with a lot of the choreo!
Also their recent appearance on IU's Palette, where Hyein shocked IU with her great vocal ability. :)
IU is now a member of New Jeans or we 6 IU's. Color Switch is the greatest ever. Watching IU listening to New Jeans sing her song Celebrity is the cutest thing ever ever ever.
It’s soooo weird I’m a death metal dude and literally obsessed with NewJeans lol !!! Like when I stumbles across hype boy when it came out I coikdnt stop watching them . Their vibe , singing , and especially their dancing . Even the behind the scenes stuff has me intrigued , their all so honest and humble , truly refreshing to watch them and it makes me smile to hear their music .
Same, I usually like listening to really loud intense music but somehow NewJeans is just different
It's good to keep your mind open. I listen to stuff like Archspire and Slaughter to Prevail, but I also listen to other stuff like this, XG, Ashinkko and even some Doja Cat. Depends on what mood I'm in.

COOL WITH YOU depicts the CUPID(hoyeon) and PSYCHE "love story". in side A, when she stares at two people, they get together and fall in love, but when she saw a guy she's in love with.. her powers are not working anymore. NEWJEANS role in this is to help her be human to be with him, she removes her "black clothing, symbolizing removal of her powers, so she starts smiling cuz she is now human after feeling the rain. In side B, she goes straight to him and builds a relationship with him. But, TONY LEUNG in the last scene erases his memory of her, that's why the guy looks to another woman after Hoyeon looks to the other girl, thus reminding her that she can't fall in love because she has a job to fulfill.

The one part you missed is that in Get up, new jeans tries go tempt her to becoming cupid again with their dance but she walks away, preferring to stay human.

i know im 7 months late but i havent seen anyone explain that ETA is like ditto in that newjeans dont exist but are part of the main girls imagination... agai n her 'imaginary friends' difference here is she sees them through her phone as oppose to the video camera and she is dealing with paranoia as oppose to loneliness... i think you missed that her paranoia led her to kill the boy, put him in the boot.. and the end suggests shes about to push the car off the cliff
