Imagine shannon didnt even know who lebron james was at this point
jaidenxk Forbes little did he know lol
That was 2001 man

Nah lebron was drafted in 08 so he was a junior
@Gerod Walker I thought I said 03 I remember because he wasn’t on 2k2
Tony Siragusa is so jersey 😂😂😂
@Henry Bullen he really is an ass lmao
Talkin all that shit when he was undrafted 😂
The worst mentality to have on a team. Naps, depressed, and hungry. Hates working out lol does the absolute minimum to get by and collect that check
@@ADM-wt9cn He's clearly joking lol. You don't last as long in the NFL as he did if that's actually you're attitude towards everything. Lighten up.
@@zinho9169 I am not talking about his career i am talking about 2001. Hes not joking... At this point he was very checked out, he called it after this season. It is evident literally every time he speaks. He'd rather be on the boat in Jersey, rather be injured in the hospital room than on the field. Bad energy... Isnt there a quote "there is a grain of truth in every joke?" His is just a huge grain lol
@@ADM-wt9cn Fair enough. I'm too young to have watched him play really I just did some research on him after watching this and it seemed he had a decent career. I get what you mean though.

This Hard Knocks makes today's Hard Knocks look like an infomercial.
NOT MY RAIDERS DONT!!! RN4L!!!
Billick is a real great coach
Yep.
Because there was something about the OG 2000 Ravens and the first hard knocks just didn't hold back like they do now. They show alot, but back then they showed a little of it all, football, or not. The realness was undisputed.
HBO was the real deal back then.
Ortege Jenkins - First one cut - Is now the owner and operator of 1 Body Strength and Conditioning Gym in Long Beach, California. [To save you guys time on looking him up] This is as of 2017.,
I figured by the way he talked he was going to be be the first cut
god he was terrible
Thank the lord
Johnny Thunder he was good enough to at least be offered a tryout lol!
Dammit you spoiled it for me, that's what I get for reading comments at the beginning. 😖

Your career in football is over when coach asks whether you got your degree.
FlashOfLight facts
FlashOfLight naw man its actually a sincere form of psychology. When basically firing someone a good employer or friend gives options. The coach reminded him that he has mutiple avenues of life in and past football. It was a very kind conversation.
Bob Bobby you pretty much just said the same thing that he said. Your career in football is over

TaeGoCrazy yep right here. Watched it first when i was in middle school.

When I was younger I really didn’t think Billick was a good coach. Now that I’m older (and a coach) I see, he’s legit. Organized. Professional.
Yea, he was just a defensive coach didn't have a good QB.

I didn't realize Shannon won 3 rings in four years 👏
Broncos 2 Ravens 1 Yup
@@mauricedavis1740 lmaooooo
He's got the rings plus made the Pro Bowl, I believe, 8 times. Also on the NFL's All Pro/All Decade teams and oh yeah, he's in Canton. Arguably the best TE to ever play and you can't forget his brother, Sterling. Another Sharpe who was an All Pro receiver multiple times. He credited his catching ability from catching 12-15k chickens a night for a job as a kid. Take that plus that drive to work hard...no surprise he reached the heights that he did.
@@SKtube0 And sterling was better than he was before his injury
@@jerrybravo9046 I've heard a lot of people say that and have seen some film on him, so I wouldn't be shocked at all if that were true. I'd be willing to bet that if you asked Shannon, he'd probably say Sterling was far better than he'd ever be.

R.i.p Big Fella #98 🙏🏾🖤🖤💜Raven forever
I still remember that Corey Stringer incident like it was yesterday. RIP big fella 💔🙏😢
Me too
I had heat stroke in prison, (the same one as lawrence phillips to which he died just year later) but i kept thinking of stringer as this pain would leave by begging to die as the whole tightens up looking for fluid which i already perspired in 106 desert heat from 3 hour work out. Dropped 16 lbs in 4 hours.
The light at tunnel is very real but i remember going through it .
Shannon always been the goat
Then came Gronkowski
Then coming is Zach Ertz
Gates is better and more consistant than both
Travis Kelce
FloridaMadeJayB Shannon is overrated
Wtf is this guy wearing those sunglasses are too small for his face. 😂
The early aughts were weird
lots of people used to rock those oakleys.
I'm guessing you're no older than 15 or 16 years old? The aviators and ray ban style sunglasses of today were not in-style in the late 90s and early 2000s. It was all about the small lens.
I read this right before he came out lmao! I was like what? Oh nvm 😂
@@TheVideoGametuts Aviators have been in style since WWII lol

Going back & watching all the episodes from this season after hearing that Tony "The Goose" Siragusa, Sr. passed away, last week.
I still can't believe that he's gone.
R.I.P., Tony "The Goose" Siragusa, Sr.!...

Same my man
"The Turk" Joe Douglas is now the GM for the Jets. The guy who used to go get the players from their hotel rooms and send them to Billick's office to be cut would become an NFL GM 18 years later. Goes to show how good this organization was at developing talent, not only on the field but within the coaching staff and front office as well.
Oh wow nice did not know that
Which he had none of to do with
@@waylenwaddlefinsup9876 In this video he was a 25 year old assistant, so yeah he didn't have much impact at the time. But he stayed with the Ravens for 15 years and became an integral part of the personnel department. He then became the Bears Director of College Scouting, and the Eagles VP of Player Personnel. So I'd say he earned that GM opportunity in New York.
I loved Shannon as a player and I loved him on skip show, and I still love him on his own platform with Chad J. He has a pure heart man

Seriously. Thank you for uploading these episodes.
I love how players were like so laidback, just being themselves. Living in basic apartments. There was No social media, so no need to worry about trying to look fresh at all times. These guys wore regular everyday clothes, drove regular everyday cars not exotic sports cars!! Today these players come to training camp dressed in designer clothes, driving Lambos & Ferrari’s to flex . I really miss when all the players were just basic, living like everyday people.
