@@hocineted7594 if your feet get stinky because of a fungus then anti fungal shampoo (a medicated dandruff shampoo, like head and shoulders, is anti fungal) will help kill the fungus but feet normally just have dirt and sweat, so rinsing that off and then walking around isn't a big deal. It's not like you eat off of them, always wear new socks and keep your shoes clean to avoid growing a fungus and you shouldn't have very stinky feet except maybe a little bit when they get sweaty. freshly rinsed feet shouldn't smell very strongly if at all.
Edit: Oh also feet can stink because of bacteria but if you normally use anti bacterial soaps on your feet then it's probably the fungus, but if you haven't tried an anti bacterial soap I'd give it a try
Personally I'm more invested in cleaning the rest of my body than my feet in the shower. I don't do any sort of activity that causes my feet to sweat much and I don't have a foot oder but if I did I would sit down and scrub them with either soap that I mentioned and see if it does the trick.

The fact is that most of the popular products we use for hygiene are not good for our skin. Many contain various chemicals that may clean and make us smell better but are detrimental to the beneficial biome that exists on our skin. Yes, there are a lot of fungus and germs and bacteria that exist on our skin that we have a beneficial symbiotic relationship with and should nurture but many of the products we use do just the opposite and damage those beneficial microbes and our skin suffers as a result of it.

I've read that shower gel is harmful to the skin and has long term cancer affects which has sent me panicking into a unsettled depression. After I was done doing with what I had to do, the next day my whole scrotum area was really dry and wrinkly and also the end of my foreskin was red. I used large amounts of it over the weeks because it felt nice in sacrifice for the soreness I felt, but now I won't do it ever again. Another thing that's worried me is the skin on the penis is very thin so it absorbs chemicals very quick. I just feel like I have no one to turn to, so some help would be appreciated.

@Lewis Kennedy stop useing shower gel in that area or anything until it's back to normal, drink lots of water in case the urethra gets inflamed to help flush things outwards. Go to the doctor if it hurts to pee or anything for more advice and possibly something to help with discomfort if needed.
For future reference lube is meant for that area and would be safer next time, or something delicate on the skin like baby oil (you can also order baby oil in a gel, which would probably be easier if you can't buy lube but since baby oil is oil based and not water based you need to be careful of a slippery shower). I wouldn't put anything but water there though until it's healed.

But your palms and soles don't produce oily sebum. They just produce watery sweat (that's why your hands get wet but never oily). If our palms and soles produced sebum, we would slip and fall or have difficulty holding objects. There's no problem washing your palms and soles with soap to get rid of covid, because they don't produce the oil anyway which the rest of our skin needs..

Our skin only needs water to wash. Soaps are overrated. Only time I would use soap is if I was working on my car and I'm really dirty. Otherwise no soap. After a day of sweating, like sports for example, still no soap. Same with the hair, no shampoo or conditioner needed. God created us in such a way that our skin and hair only need water. You never smell and your skin and hair are optimally healthy.
If you have been using soap and shampoo all your life, it will take a month or two for the skin to regulate its natural oil and sebum production. At first you will experience breakouts, etc, but after the period of adaptation, everything will start to look and feel really nice. This works best with cold or lukewarm water. The colder, the better. Hot water is a luxury we don't need. We really are spoiled. 👍
