I think the mindset behind the brakes is…. If you panic and slip off the throttle and grip the brake… you are gripping the rear brake and not the front which would throw you over the handle bars.
With the rear brakes on the right all you would accidentally do is skid your back tires which won’t make you crash.

Looks interesting... But I personally dislike the Throttle lever, the breaks levers on the opposite LR position and the lack of dircitional lights. I give it 7 of a 10
going that fast on a walkway in a park just messes it up for EVERYONE

Gotta say I've been thinking of the varla but the last reviews weren't to good.

@fodads looks like mine is sitting somewhere like an hour and a half away, im guessing fedex won't put it out for delivery until tomorrow. Im a first time buyer of E scooter this scooter or the varla pegasus?? Just plan to joy ride on asphalt trails and sidewalks
Those 2 are so different. Pegasus is a good commuter. If you're planning to have chill rides mainly on asphalt then it should be enough but we don't recommend it for riding on off-road (trails should be fine). With eagle pro its a bit different story. It's better in every aspect, faster, more comfortable, has better range and is quite good on off-road and also is 2x times more expensive. You won't be disappointed but it's all about what you need it for.
I own this. I like it. Phone unlocking does not work with Apple ifone. FYI

Varla is a well known company for its production of electric scooters. Anyone who hasn’t heard of them obviously knows nothing about electric scooters at all.

My controller went out after 229 miles I was stranded they should have made this 50 mph should have been 1400 watts they did a lot of things wrong with this scooter and the battery sucks it dosent last long at all!!! And I'm riding normal not aggressive smfh
