I remember watching Juventus games when Zidane was at Juventus (on Channel 4 football Italia) The way he was able to control the tempo of the game was unreal. Not to mention, the ability he had as a dribbler and creativeness as a passer. In terms of overall performance, I feel he was at his peak for them; even more so than at Madrid. Because Real had more superstars than he had around him at Juventus, he didn't stand out as much in that Madrid side. It felt like at Juventus there was more responsibility on him to take control of the game. Without doubt one of the top 10 players ever.

Exactly - I'm pretty sure I've watched every Ange presser, and he's never said the refs are a joke, or costing him points. He's said the opposite, that people need to have more respect for the refs, regardless of mistakes. His comments on VAR are only that he doesn't like it as it slows the game down too much, and that he'd rather have wrong decisions go against him as it'll even out over the course of a season, more or less.

The ref points with one hand, doesn´t that usually mean free kick? Play on is usually both hands? I think he did show for a free kick, then blew the whistle when Haaland didn't stop the ball before the pass, because the free kick needed to be retaken. The more I see the replay, the more I think that is what happened.
The best pure footballers of recent times are Brazilian Ronaldo, Zidane, Ronaldinho, Messi and Iniesta the next in line may be Musiala for pure skill and control of a ball, Pedri from Barcelona may get there also.

The decision was so bad that even as a Manchester United fan wanting Tottenham to get a result and win, I was still angry at the referee at that decision, it is total incompetance and shows a lack of understanding about the desire to win football matches that most proffesional footballers have when playing at the top level, just total incompetance.
I get you. I look at it a bit like this though. Man City had 95 minutes to win the game at home. They failed to win it. So we shouldn’t blame the refs for one decision. We should blame Man City for not getting the job done. They did very well last year, but the bottom line is they did not get the job done on this one. And looking around for excuses will affect their mentality in the long term.

But if he allows Grealish to go, there's less noise if he is offside.
