  • Full story mode gameplay of Contra: Operation Galuga Demo in normal difficulty with a health meter on PS4 (1 TB Launch Model, 2015).
Arcade mode skips the cinematics and is identical to Story mode gameplay wise.
Demo is available for free on PlayStation, X-box as well as Nintendo Switch consoles from respective game stores.
Completing the demo entitles the user to a mystery in-game item in the full game when it launches (maybe an outfit or weapon).

Simplified sequence (Konami Code) irrespective of platform should be (Up - Up - Down - Down - Left - Right - Left - Right - Fire Weapon - Jump).
We need to begin entering the keys once the massive burning C animation starts and finish before the actual menu (Story Mode, Arcade Mode, ...) appears.
Rewards for successfully entering the Konami Code include the 'You Remembered' trophy, the +30 Lives perk (unlockable for 7500 credits), 5xx credits (something between 500 and 600) and 4 Soundtracks unlockable for 5000 credits each (8-bit Konami Classics, 8-bit Castlevania, 8-bit Contra Mix and 8-bit Contra Re-Mix).

Please...What is the code for 30 lives on the Nintendo Switch ? That is the version I have. All the CZcamsrs mentioned the Playstation and Xbox codes but not the Nintendo one.

      Not sure but you can try switching the A and B buttons. So either (Up - Up - Down - Down - Left - Right - Left - Right - A - B) or (Up - Up - Down - Down - Left - Right - Left - Right - B - A) should work theoretically.
By the way, I do not think that 30 lives hack (Konami Code) works on any modern platform Contras to increase the lives (Anniversary Collection or Operation Galuga), it may be required for a trophy though.

@@misterlexx2721 Yep, tried it today. Easiest way seems to be starting a new game every time instead of using Continues for few initial attempts. If we complete more than 1 stage then we get a multiplier effect, for e.g. I played just now and reached 5th stage till Game Over (no Continues), so it gave me 1900 Credits in a single attempt (4 * X, X being the credits earned and 4 being the number of stages cleared in the attempt). 4 or 5 such attempts and we can accumulate 7500 credits easily. I had already purchased 1 up (500 credits) and 2 up (1000 credits) global perks before this attempt, we already have 1300 credits by default (1000 for pre-order and 300 for playing the demo). Earn 200 more credits, purchase 1 up and 2 up, and then we can have around 2000 credits every attempt assuming we clear 4 stages. In 2 hours we can purchase +30 😊.
Edit - FYI : After applying +2 Health Bars and Overload Heal perks, I was able to reach 8th Stage till Game Over and received 7900+ credits at once (thanks to the multiplier 7 for clearing 7 stages at once), was able to purchase the +30 Lives perk with just this one run.
