For me,What an amazing collection of SNSD memories!!!! The girls grabbed my attention in 2010, and I have spent an unhealthy amount of time watching/listening to everything I can find on them. Not sure how I missed this post before now. Definitely brought out some tears of happiness. Thanks much!!!!

As to why they are LEGEND,My point,The reason why many girl groups exists nowadays is because of Girls' Generation. They remove the prejudice that only boy groups can dominate and live long as a group. I think this reason alone is the reason why SNSD is a legend.
The MV views, the album sales, the digital sales, newer groups would surpass that but SNSD's legacy legacy will never be forgotten.

SNSD is the only girl group to win Deasang at the Golden Disk Awards until now
Music show stage "Tell me your wish" rating reached 17.2% (equivalent to 8.6 million live viewers) in 2009 and the prediction seems unbreakable
golden disk award is so special. any kpop female group idol can win any daesang at other award shows but never golden disk award, snsd is the only female idol that can win that. nowadays youtube views for famous idols for a hundred millions seems normal for me. But try win that GDA, it is so hard to win that award.
@@tkilgkNo.. there's other gg did win daesang on GDA.. snsd is the only girl group that won DISK DAESANG(album of the year) at Golden Disk Award.. Disk daesang is hard to get because album sales are dominated by boygroups

They had the high scored view of a performance on TV with "Genie", this record was in 2010 (i think), but till this day they still hold this record

While Sunny haven't had a solo debuted she has at least 5 songs on SM Station, however, not one was featured here. Not to mention at least 7 OST.
snsd will always have a special place in my heart, i still get goosebumps whenever i hear the itnw tokyo dome version, the time jessica wasn't already in the group. i still hope they can still be together as ot9.
In fact, they didn't do soooo many concerts, but even so they get 4 positions on top 10 biggest girl group tour ~internarional~ losing just for groups like Spice Girls and Destiny's Child, and they hold their positions with tours only in asia, AND this record was theirs for several years

the first lighstick is by bigbang. snsd is my fav female idols (bias taeyeon) and bigbang is my fav male idol (bias gd). Both groups' member are so talented.

Jessica jung also release another mv called summer storm in 2018. And she participated in chinese competition last year.All the competitive are very famous chinese celebrities.The show called sister in the waves.

SNSD was my highschool n uni mate through out.. i remember watching SNSD 's MV and variety shows on very very slow internet n WIFI .. spent countless of time looking that circle circling for up teen time while downlading MV.. haha
Also SNSD drained my wallets by ordering their CD, DVD, merch..

Ty so much. ❤. Please cover TTS, they had three albums. I Got A Boy , First ever CZcams video of the year. Beat out Justin Bieber, Lady Gaga, Miley Cyrus, etc. People not happy, rude comments.. They can’t even speak English, even though Tiffany literally from LA and accepted award in English! Also, first kpop group on US late night tv, David Letterman, The Boys .. certainly didn’t get reception BTS got Three years later. They debuted in 2007, Twice I think 2015. Jan. 2, Tiffany Young ( SNSD) Sunni ( Wonder Girls) and Dara (2NE1) performing together on awards show!! Must see! ❤ Ty again

I think there are two legendary KPOP girl groups. SNSD is certainly one and the other is 2NE1. Please don't ask me which one is better they are like comparing a tomato and an apple. Both are fruits and both are wonderful but they are not the same. Please keep supporting SNSD. However, I think adding 2NE1 to your reactions will cover the two founders of modern KPOP.
I completely agree, when you’re looking at the foundations of what kpop is today, you must look at the 4 pillars of kpop, Big Bang, Super Junior, Girls’ Generation and 2NE1!
@@HausOfTheBat I am not much into the boy groups. Only one I like is Big Bang. Oh and their cover of 2NE1 "I am the Best" is a laugh riot.
