These guys blow my damn mind. Let it Beep was the most important album made by any band to ever come out of Knoxville. That includes Head Trip in Every Key.
Way late to the party but, Letterman was SO into giving up and coming bands an opportunity to play in a prime late night spot. That was his musical ecosystem along with a few regulars like Foo Fighters and John Mayer in later years. He should be applauded for giving a band like Royal Bangs a booking.
just hung out with these guys after a performance in Denton, TX. great seeing them on TV, although you should probably cut out the bit about tommy at the end haha
@ryrodye I would be surprised if any of the fans of this band have ever heard of Joe. Joe's taste is more old school rock. The alternative style is hard for us fans of Joe's style to get into this kind of stuff. Different strokes for different folks. People like them and they were on Letterman so as Charlie Sheen would say "Winning". I have to agree with Joe though I don't get it.
Joe Bonamassa kind of dissed these guys on FB, calling them not very good. Bonamassa's my hero but I'm gonna have to disagree. These guys have a coooool sound. :)

Awesome performance! The drummer kills!
I'm from Knoxville these guys are amazing!
i have been intoxicated with each person on that stage.
Awesome drummer
Is it a strange coincidence how the majority of his musical guests over the past few years are all making their 'network television debut'?
