American here. At the time, 1993, we were buried in grunge. I live in Seattle, was a fan of some grunge, but more a fan of Oz rock (a la Rose Tattoo, Midnight Oil, etc.). I also worked in the radio industry at the time. The CD single for "Mary Mary" (live from Big Day Out -- a killer track) got little to zero airplay. There was just so much other music that was coming out at the time. The Screaming Jets were buried by grunge at the same time, unfortunately. When Tear Of Thought came out, zero airplay here. One of the problems of a fad or trend, or new subgenre taking over (like grunge or alt or rap) is that other rock genres, or mixtures of genres, often get buried or otherwise overlooked.
;0 points for 'cassingle'!! ;0 and even more points for this band!! :)) they shoulda never got pushed to the wayside back during the 'nirvana' days....
hey man can you hook us up with 'Inertia' or whatever their second album that didnt do too well? I still wanna hear it....there must a few good traacks on it. Burn it for us and ill pay full price bro!
They went to the U.S and they lost there top 2 managers at the time moving to a new label Island Records, and everything went down hill from there it was around the time big record labels would use indie artists like this and make or break them.
Gave ?Nina? Stranger in a Strange Land to read outside a show in Atl. Hung out a bit. Lead singer seemed to hate Billy Corrigan...called him a facist lol. Just a comment while drinking at Club Anytime. Fun times!
MOSSY GOD is the most underated Australian rock album of all time. I was 19 and thought these guys were going to storm the US.

I can't believe they did not get huge in the US! Perfect sound at the perfect time! Amazing look and feel! Something must have gone wrong somewhere...
They like a blend of STP , The Cult and splash of Pantera. Love'm all Oh and Buckcherry !

A combination of drugs and a changing musical climate in the US prevented this band from becoming huge here in my opinion .
