Two lovely actresses from a time when our hearts were less cynical and we laughed more at the simplest things.😊
That's a really nice and fitting description of an era where the comedy was actually funny. These two ladies were lovely. So many of us all knew a Pat and Peggy.
Lovely actresses, sadly we'll missed 😢
We were so lucky to have these ladies. Real class ❤️
2 great actresses sadly missed, we won't see the like ever again. Lovely.
I utterly adored these two. Made me laugh with every they did. Old cast. Mould broken. A real era of fun.
Loved them. So lovely to see them in this interview. So funny, so talented.
I have these wonderful ladies many times on dvd. Marvellous comediennes indeed!
God bless them both.
Oh how I love these two great legends of British comedy. Totally delightful.
Those were the days, of great actors of stage & television! Rip Ladies ♥️
Peggy & Pat, thanks so much for the laughter. XX
I had an Aunt, she always reminded me of Peggy Mount.
When I was the assistant manager at a hotel we had Peggy as a guest for 8 weeks during Panto. I used to walk her round to the theatre every day and collect her afterwards. Such a lovely person
two of our greatest, funniest actors every loved them both
John Hornby actresses !! they ain’t men
@@tzarinavictoria3531 Some female celebrities prefer being described as actors. I think it may have been Jane Fonda who said we are all actors.
I really miss Terry Wogan as well as these two wonderful actresses, I wish there was a tv station that just kept showing the programmes like these.
Two of our greatest character actors from a much loved and missed era.

Absolutely!
Actresses !!!
Too true Glen. We all loved the battleaxes. They were hilarious and homely somehow. They always sounded so serious and yet, had us in stitches.
Most popular and beloved ladies whose wonderful.presence ruled that particular comedy era. R.I.P Pat and Peggy. ⚘❤⚘❤
@@tzarinavictoria3531 get over it will ya
Thank you George. Two of Englands best comedy actresses. from an era where they didn't have to resort to bad language to entertain x
Ahhh the memory of Peggy Mount and Pat Coombs.
Two lovely ladies who were genuinely funny.
Thank you very much for uploading.
Glamrockqueen : Couldn't agree more.
Lovely that Pat and Peggy formed a lifelong friendship. You can't put a price on genuine friendship. Its priceless.
Two classic actresses, both big stars in their own way...
Two very talented ladies always such a joy to watch. Pat Coombs was brilliant on the radio with June Whitfield & Roy Hud in( LIKE THEY’VE NEVER BEEN GONE ) so very funny.

Wonderful ladies.......miss them very much
Charming lovely ladies and so funny--I can still watch the old movies and lol
Absolutely fabulous loved those too ladies x
Miss these two lovely ladies
Two great actresses. Their interactions, demeanour, and genuine shared joyful laughter, point to a way of being, that we all valued so very much, and were very conscious of losing, as society changed. The lovable, charitable, easy going ways, have changed into a much harsher reality. The most valued things in society, the love, the chortles, the shared laughter, the spiritual music of the soul, has been exchanged, for fast gain, and cynicism. Had we pleased God, I think the 1960s could have lasted forever.😆
I met Pat Coombs once when I was at Pickwick Records, what a down to Earth Lady.
Pure magic loved them both
Aww loved em both! i have all of the your only young twice series on dvd! i remember it being on tv when i was a kid!
There is nobody like this now.Time flies - here for a while then gone - even Wogan has passed away.

Gosh this takes me back THREE AMAZING PEOPLE NOW PASSED 💔💔
Loved these two ladies.
I recall Peggy Mount as Harry Seacomb's assistant in Oliver. And Pat Coombs as the giggling Mrs. Guppy in Bleak House.
Peggy Mount is my spirit animal
Delightful.
I knew Peggy's half sister Kath really well. She wasxa really sweet woman. John
Pat Coombs"Oh Mumsie!"
Peggy Mount "I'll speak my mind and I don't care who hears me!"
Miss Petty and Sisse Lupin 😂😂
Lovely, fun ladies.
Ladies Who Do..
If MATILDA was released in the 60s/70s, Peggy Mount would have been an excellent Miss Trunchbull
With Pat as Miss Honey as well.
They don’t make them like that anymore , real characters .
I always find it strange when I hear an actors real voice.
And we never got a double act
Dame Peggy Mount was a very generous lady
In what way
7:38 what did Peggy say he did to the cat?
I first loved Peggy as the voice of the Goblin Queen in the animated film 'The princess and the goblin', which was actually her final film
I think the cat poo’ed on him.
