I have a question Corey about the yellow Camaro that Ax man ran at this race that is in the beginning of the video. I am asking out of pure curiosity and not criticism. You know I’m not like that. The Camaro sure looked like a Pro Mod. What did or didn’t it have that made it fit the rules of the class it was in? Just curious cuz I am just a guy that loves drag racing but very limited in the knowledge of the rules, classes and types of cars that run in all these races. Just want to learn. Thanks man, I appreciate you bro.
It’s in the realm of a promod basically, it’s been to many rvw races and does super well. It’s around 4500-5000hp I think. He fits the rules it’s just that the car is well put together and super fast. I’ll consider it puppy kicking but that’s my opinion.
In a lot of these types of races the only real rules are the tire size, no wheelie bars, and needing to have doors (so no rail cars). Technically you can bring pro mods if you want, the issue is normally traction. This track in particular was prepped enough where the pro mods had an advantage compared to a surface like War in the Woods which favor more no prep oriented builds.
@@TeddolchGaming I absolutely agree with this. I didn’t know that there wasn’t a limit instead just basic stuff. I felt like there should have been a limit on what you bring but hey it was a field full of sharks.

there were 4 pro275 cars there plus the patriot. they are on the same playing field as far as chassis goes. all of these cars are capable of 3.60s-3.80s on a radial consistently. as was stated before, normally no prep races only care about tire size and bars. but this race was 28x10.5 floppy tires only. these 5 cars are running the same times as promod but they are not promods. they class race and know their cars like the back of their hand.
