This is the number one reason why I am not using Printify for personalized orders. You should check your competitors ways as well for more accurate and modern way of creating personalized orders. Being that said, we should get the personalized order as a draft with the order number and design, only one thing we should do is to put the new design on it and send for the fulfilment proces. No need to create duplicates and so on... this is so much stressful while you are getting hundreds of orders every day

Order approval settings change the order type for all the products in your store. Isn't there a choice for one product only? I don't want to put all my listings to manual, just because i want one listing to be personalized.
Hi there, Order approval settings apply to the entire connected store, not just specific products at this moment, unfortunately. A small workaround could be to set your order approval settings to 24 hours or at a certain time every day. This way you'd be able to catch any products that need to be personalized before getting sent to production.

What if i sold 1000 t shirts that were straight forward non personalised designs, but then had 10 tshirt designs that were personalised? How would this work?
Hi there, Thanks for sharing your feedback. We're always working to make our platform better, including being able to efficiently offer personalized designs. If you only offer select designs with personalization, one option could be to set your order approval settings to 24hrs or a set time for each day. This way your orders will still be automatically sent to production, while giving you time to adjust any personalized ones.

Hi Rob! Customization is when you as a seller take blank products and make it your own. For example, adding your brand name, logo, or unique design to the product. Personalization refers more to the customer that is buying your product. The seller then gives the customer an option to personalize a product for example by asking the seller to add a specific name or a photo of someone.
Let's use the mug from the video as an example. The mug was customized by the seller (us) with the text "Guess who my favorite coworker is" and "this guy." A customer then has the option to personalize this mug by sending in a photo of their choice to go along with the text. Hope this clears it up for you, but let us know if you have more questions! :)
1:57 to 2:04 is confusing... "Find the original order to remove the placeholder product and add the duplicate you just created." ?? It isn't clear how to remove and replace the product on an existing order (especially not from the video... if just shows pressing trash).
Hi Tatyana, the Trash icon is what deletes your placeholder product so that your new/duplicate product can replace it.

Sorry, I use Printify and (although little experience so far) it is just not clear to me how it ‘replaces’ it. Is it just a manual thing that one should note? :/

Hi! You can change and try different fonts within our product creator. By clicking "Preview" in the top right corner you can see what it'll look like on the product.

I create designs using Canva, download to my device (png), then upload to Printify.
Instead, I can upload a design from my device, save as a template, and create the personalised text box directly on Printify 👏🏽
Rather than downloading to device, then uploading each personalisation edit from Canva. This will save time because I use the Printify mug mock-ups.
But it won’t work for personalised t-shirts because I use my own mock-ups. Is there a way to download Printify Tshirt designs before sending to publish❓❓
Hey, Glad to hear it! Unfortunately, there's no way to download designs that are created within the mockup generator.
Can we delete the draft product in Printify after we completed the order? Or does that draft need to stay until the order ships?
Hi! Deleting the draft product will not affect the order. However, we suggest keeping the draft product so that whenever an order is made of that product, you can duplicate it and create the personalized version.

Could I delete the personalized product after I fulfilled the order or do I have to wait so the print is still on file and can be printed? If not, is there a way I can organize my products in Printify so I don’t have to have multiple copies filling up space, like a folder maybe?
Hi there! We're working on adding more features to our platform and having folders is a great suggestion. If the order has been sent to production, it means that the data has reached the Print Provider, and they may already be working on fulfilling the order. At that point it should be safe to delete your image from your library.

Hmmm... switch settings to make every single order manual... talk about adding extra work just to personalize.
The font selection seems good at first glance but doesnt match most of the fonts I've used. I couldnt even find one sports font like Sports Varsity or Sports World. If there is one please point it out to me.

To get this straight in my mind. I create an Etsy listing then create another in Printify. Do I save the Printify listing as a draft or click "hide in shop" and publish it?

Hi! You can save the listing as a draft in your Printify account. When someone orders from the listing in your Etsy shop, you can duplicate the one in your Printify account to personalize and submit the order manually.
Regarding mugs, we do not offer blanks for sale.

@@sabashakeel4311 Hi, The images you get from the app would go through to Shopify not to Printify. You'd then manually have to take those images from Shopify and upload them into the Printify mockup generator to add to your products.
What if a customer buys 2 different personalized products, will they be packaged together when shipping and will it only count as 1 shipping fee?

@Printify the order had already been reflected in my printify account, I'm not sure what steps should I do to have her 2 different personalized mug designs sent to the maker?

I get the pros and cons of using the Manual setting for Order Approval, which depends on your volume of sales, number of listing, personal preferences, etc. But, what does Printify think about the option to create listing in Etsy? And if it's OK why don't you teach it?
Hi there! We teach the easiest way we know, but it all comes down to your personal preference, just make sure your listing details match or else it can cause order syncing issues.

What about personalization in Woocommerce?
Hey! The process would be the same on the Printify side. You'd want to create a template of your product and then duplicate it to create the personalized version. The personalized version you would then manually add to the order.
Woah Printify - this needs work. Firstly, the detail on how to setup the Etsy personalisation and more specifically how to undertake order fulfilment within Printify is weak. The script skips through what the steps are (and the outcomes) at pace. As a resource for educating Sellers, it fails. This video needs to be elaborated.
Secondly, functionality that only allows the automatic or manual processing of order fulfilment to be set at a shop level is very poor. The work-around offered is shabby, increases the shop owner workload and materially slows down the order workflow FOR EVERY SINGLE ORDER IN THE SHOP. Printify is a software platform processing many millions of orders so please - tell us where in the enhancement backlog “manual or automatic order fulfilment can be set at an individual listing level” is. When exactly will this enhancement be released?

I agree with Wendy... Slow down. For us visual learners, white board explainer videos would be helpful to explain the flow and take students through the process. Just a thought.
