A few hours spare and some bait left over from the previous night session, I head down to the harbour mouth at Gorleston. You can fish on the sea side of the pier a little further up but I chose to fish the Harbour.
Come the summer months this is a great spot for Bass and Mullet but you can get a lot of hastle of the crabs.
Trying out the Smuggler Max by Rigged and Ready. The Smuggler Max is a real beast of a rod. Its the perfect rod for heavy travel fishing and can cater for everything from Beach casting, Pier Fishing, Carp fishing, Pike fishing to name a few.

Many, many years ago my grandad had been fishing with lug of the harbour and had no luck and went home(Norwich). My uncle returned home after work and asked how he got on and was told"no luck but I have 6 lug left" you didn't throw nothing away back then.
Uncle decided to go back to Gorleston with the lug, walked past and asked the other fishermen if there's caught anything and the replies were "no".
He went to end and with 6 lug he left with 6 cod not codling.
He loves to tell that tale 🤣
Brilliant video sir, this place looks very inviting. I may have to come and have a look soon. Using up that bait was a fab idea, the rod looked like it could handle any thing you throw at it

Hi mate, sub from me. I am looking for a new rod to also go with my singi stubben original. Can you fit the rod in the loop at the top or do you use bungee? I have original pockets and gear pocket

I have one of the closable pockets on one side then the gear pocket on the other. @@Vildmark thank you ever so much. Went to check it out and realised I had already watched. I got my bag new old stock but the gear pocket was seconds hand so I did not get the compression strap with it. Will get another soon. Been looking at the rigged and ready Ultimate so should fit in perfectly. Thanks and in the process of binge watching your vids.
