I can assure you that there are absolutely no fillers at all. Every episode has its place in the story. Even little things from season 1 finally start to make sense in the last season!

I have watched 40+ TV series and 150+ anime but there is nothing which made me feel like AOT. I will never forget the goosebumps i had along with plot twists and cliff hangers.
Watched it from the start and cliffhangers are a power thing, especially when you have to wait for week to see what will happen to favorite characters and the world itself.
I highly recommend checking out Naoki Urasawa's Monster, the anime and manga's a masterpiece. The best psycnological mystery crime thriller I've ever watched. I'd say that it's even better than some of the psychological TV shows I've watched like Hannibal, Mindhunter, Dexter, etc...
Same. I'm so critical about shows because many are predictable. But AoT brought me something new. It's one of the unique shows. A game-changer. It's a show that touches you personally, because anyone can relate to some point to the struggles that happen..
And best of all.. the show is a good lesson about compassion. And I love that.

@@francesnicole0306 I have already watched it and loved Johan's character. At first I dropped it because it was too slow paced but after watching the episode 23 I was glued to the show.
My parents don't like anime at all, but they LOVE this show. My mom binged the whole thing, up to part 2 of season 4 since it wasn't out yet in like 5 days total. She was hooked. This is my favorite anime, and I've seen plenty. It's worth the watch, absolutely. It has everything I could ask for: great voice acting (I watch it in Japanese), great action, amazing story telling, great character development, and an AMAZING soundtrack. I guarantee people would love to watch you react to the show.

Attack on Titan's anime adaptation is almost a decade out now while its source material which is a manga first came out in 2009. It is objectively one of the major key players that made anime become mainstream in the west
DAMN, that is true I remember seen the first episode when I was 8, hooked me in an instant
The story line is so good I remember being so excited for new episodes, this definitely one of my fav animes
The anime community loves to see someone who hasn't watched a lot of anime react to an anime they like so if you start reacting to the show not only you'll gain lots of new viewers you'll also get to experience one of the greatest anime of all time and you definitely won't be disappointed
Yeah, I agree with you when you said that anime can increase your creativity. I'm writing a novel at the moment, and animes get my creative juices flowing in my brain when I watch them. Japan just really has crazy ideas when it comes to storytelling and not to mention they know how to give you the feels.

This and Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood are on par for being some of the best anime. FMAB is considered the OG "Anime for people who've never watched anime" because it's so good that it can literally pull people into watching anime in general. These two shows also have some similar themes and are great examples of anime not being entirely for kids!
I think that if someone wants to start in anime, they should DEFINITELY watch AoT... Btw, some seasons have 2 parts, each one with different openings.
Season 1: 2 parts
Season 2: 1 part
Season 3: 2 parts
Final Season (4th): 2 parts (for now, 3rd coming 2023)
That's why there are 7 openings but only 4 seasons :)
My fav anime besides AoT would definitely be Death Note. It's such a mind f*CK of thoughts and anticipation, I watched all 37 eps in 1 weekend, I was so hooked lmao.

About the Season 3 confusion: Anime are usually split into "cours". Those are about 12 episodes long (+-2). Usually every cour has its own OP and ED, so a "normal" season can have 2 each, since most (bigger) anime do 2-cour seasons.
For AoT:
S1: 2 cour (25E)
S2: 1 cour (12E)
S3: 2 cour (22E)
S4: 2 cour (28E) (by now, S4 part 3 will come out next year afaik)

All anime openings are 1:30 minutes long, but that's the anime version length. Most songs are their own thing, with normal lengths and are adapted for the show with a 1:30 duration which is usually called TV size version.
Snk blew up when it came out, it was a revolution including for the animation. It's also THE anime who democratized manga culture to the non-watcher at a time when anima was seen as a nerd weirdo thing. Ending a incredibles too and the storytelling is one of the best. ( Sorry for my english it sucks, and Bonjour de France :-)

I’ve been watching anime for at least a decade and have watched hundreds of anime. My favorite anime is attack on titan, there’s nothing else quite like it. The feelings it invokes in you, it’s a life changing experience. I would 100% recommend watching it

It’s just masterfully planned. Every episode and moment is important there are no fillers so it’s not as long as other Shounen types but I think that’s because of how story and character focused it is and I love it

Ok, so I'm gonna explain everything (without spoilers)
Attack on Titan (Shingeki No Kyojin in japanese) is a shonen (anime for young adults) revolving around the characters of Eren Jaeger, Mikasa Ackerman and Armin Arlert. There are humongous humanoids called titans in this world (not related to any mythology or anything) and they eat humans, yes they eat humans. There are three walls behind which the humanity lives and the walls protect the humanity from man-eating titans but one day the outer wall, Wall Maria falls and the titans enter the city. This is how the show starts. Attack on Titan is a action, horror, philosophical, mystery, drama show for first two seasons but after that it starts talking about geopolitical war-drama and revolves around the theme of war after Season 3. Basically, it shifts from Shonen category to Seinen category (anime for adults). Attack on Titan is so much popular in the world. It was awarded with the title of Most in-demand tv show of 2021 beating many huge titles like Squid Game, Money Heist and WandaVision. Attack on Titan's episode 17 and 16 of Season 3 are placed in #2 and #3 position respectively in the top rated television episodes of all time under #1 which is Breaking Bad's Ozymandias. And no, there are no any filler episodes in AOT/SNK, every episode, every minute and every dialogue in the show is so important and foreshadows upcoming episodes. Attack on Titan is considered an objective masterpiece and is arguably the best anime of all time.

My favorite anime at the moment is literally Attack on Titan. It's too beautiful written.
But story-wise it's on a par with Berserk. The anime never finished so there's only the manga. It's a story that's beautiful and well written in it's own way. A masterpiece made by a genius... May he rest in peace.

About favorite anime: does chinese donghua count? :) If so, Mo Dao Zu Shi is unbeatable to me (and the music there is on par with AoT, not to mention the visual and the plot), highly recommend!

About the intro length: anime usually have a standardized opening length with 1:30, but there is usually full versions of the songs, which can range in length just like any other song, but are usually around 3-5 minutes I would say.

My favorite anime is HunterxHunter. Nearly all the characters are amazingly written. After the first arc, it introduces a very fascinating and almost limitless power system in terms of creativity and how different people use it. And also has its own dark and series tones as it goes on
Lol, you pretty much had the same reaction all of us AOT fans did when 'The Rumbling' played for the first time! Also, coming from someone who has seen all of the current anime so far, crikey these op's give out a lot of spoilers when you know what to look for! Not gonna say what they are here obviously, but just something interesting to point out. It really is a good watch, no fillers to be seen here and even watching the OVA's (which I know for most shows are just filler) is worth it here. Every bit of content for AOT is here for a reason, everything here is to tell a story and it's one of the best stories we've had in a long time, animated or otherwise. I'd be interested in seeing what your favorite character ends up being though, cause I think mine is a close tie between two of our main leads, Eren and Armin. I just love these two!
The show is top story quality. Any plot question before/while watching the show will be answered. If thats not enough, the author makes even more plotholes thats mindblowing and an even more mindblowing top tier solutions to it.

One of my favorite anime in general but specifically to rewatch is Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood and specifically the English Dub version.
There is an English version of the first and third Ops by Natewantstobattle and they are just as amazing as the Japanese ones also to explain the openings 1st 2 was season 1 3rd was 2nd season 4th and 5th was season 3 and the last two were season 4
