- čas přidán 8. 09. 2024
- We visit the worlds most unique AE86 shop, known as Noby Booth and get lucky with a private tour of Liberty Walk's collection as we work our way back to Nagoya.
In 2019 we went back to Japan. Hungry for more after "Japan Without a Plan", we aimed to seek out AE86's, Street drifting, Kanjo culture, tuning shops and much more.
In this twelve-part special, we buy another van and travel up the east coast, documenting as much as we could, getting ourselves into some hilarious situations.
Enjoy our journey through Japanese car culture over the next few weeks. This one has been a long time coming.

It’d be cool to get somebody to translate these videos decently into Japanese. I think a lot of these owners and shops (especially the smaller ones from other eps) would really appreciate some of the stuff you guys are saying about the culture and what not
Hey Google, translate 'fookin shite' to Japanese.
@@EssOneFive I’m sure must be some sort of ancient Japanese equivalent 😅
21:30 Reuben ain't wearing a seat belt because after the Kanjo Loop footage he no longer fears death 😂
If you can survive a high speed run in some strangers civic on the loop, you can survive anything haha
@@toddbrown4185 True that 😂 Would love to do it myself fair play, to kidnap me you'd just need to say "wanna do a lap of the kanjo loop?" That's it I'm all yours, forget free candy 😂
@@toddbrown4185 😂😂
I swear I'll be binge watching these series again once all the episodes is done!
Same man, be rude not to really 🤷😂
Neil says he's looking into getting DVD's made 😍😍
@@11metalfan needs to be onto Netflix with the series
Definitely worth a re-watch
I've been home sick and watching these the last week, not sure why I saved them. 3 episodes is enough for me to binge then my brain starts melting from how much awesome is shown! 😄
By the end of this series Neil will be shipping an entire 86 back to Ireland in bits 😂
He's probably already got 75% of one shipped over as you typed that :P
Hahahaha
You know Japanese car culture broke them when Reuben can only muster a quiet "it was just lovely". Man, what an experience that must've been!
😂😂
Highlight of my week, it’s downhill from here till next episode 😅
I'm not prepared for this series to end 😂
Will be re-watching the other episodes until next Monday 😂
The guy that makes these is wasted doing his current job he should just do this full time. It is amazing content
He works for jdm distro
It would be nice to do this full time, I kind of have that situation going on where I work now
That "Awwww shhiiiiiiiiiitttt" at the end made my day 😂 the camerawork during the whole of this continuous meltdown you guys are on is absolutely fantastic Neil 👍
Surprised I could even press record as we were constantly having a melt down at every store.
@@juiceboxforyou 😂😂 can you please please tell me what the song/beat is on episode 4 about 35:00?? It's killing me
That liberty walk Lamborghini miura 😰. Nearly fainted when I saw how gorgeous it is 😍😂😂😂
Why am I reading the comments fuck ! Spoiler alert !!!
fun fact its powered by a ford v8
@@ShaiyanHossain I like facts
the work by filming and editing those video is just 100%, make me feel like I'm literally there, so many beautiful things to see, the environment and of course the car culture is just amazing 👏
much love from the netherlands. 👍
Thanks Steve, glad you've enjoyed the series so far.
When I'm stuck here in the States not able to work on my project car because of work/life getting in the way, this stuff is purifying for the soul. Thanks for the videos, lads! Cheers from Arizona!
🍻🍻
Every episode is mind melting, the level of cool car stuff doesn't ever drop
Please put this entire thing on DVD
Id love to, with a book to compliment it
Has to be some of the best coverage Japan has got in regards to cars the sheer volume of business over their is crazy. I’m going to be rewatching all of these episodes over again. Such good work man. Juicebox for life ! 😁😁
Cheers man, glad you've been appreciating them so far. 🍻
0:24 when they lifted that garage door and you switched scenes to that datsun i got goosebumps
Yeah man!
once again thank you woadies for this series, we need more of the juiceboys running around the world looking for garages and car culture
and god all these 71s made me cry
Man I love this series, as an older guy who just bought a 97 Ek, most guys here my age are into American muscle but its great to hear the old guys in Japan are still at it too.
Is it me or is it way too convenient that Alexi was talking about the earth quake alarm and it giving him PTSD.
Next morning the alarm goes off on the phones. It's almost like he knew it was a practise alarm the next day and wanted to fuck with you 👀🤣
He was fucking with us 🤣🤣
Thumbs up for the little van doing all them miles and not miss a beat..
She was a trooper
Noby Booth looking like a fruit and veg shop with 86 goodness just sprinkled throughout...😂
Dmt 86 shop
If kervicks sold car parts !
Isn't it just 🤣 I wanted to say that in the interviews but I'm not sure people would get the reference. Looks like an 80s fruit and veg shop
Another great episode. I think the fact of old people still driving cars and bikes around, to meetings, trackdays, racing and tuning, show how important are vehicles on their (our...) lives. Im 47 and all my live always has turned around motorsport, in so many different ways, and hope that never change in the future (if there's any future...) and can still drive/ride my junk around. If you go to Nurburgring, as sample, are lots of people over 60 driving the most amazing sportscars or the most tuned youngtimers and always open to share the experience with a good conversation having fun with a beer... Life around motors is, no doubt, a better life!
Thats awesome man, and yes 100% agree with you on that
Please keep these coming. I’m pretty sure I’ve watched each of these episodes 3x over and love them each time. You guys are literally taking the dream trip through Japan so I’m living vicariously through you 😅
Yeah man! This was the trip of a lifetime, very fortunate we could document it.
Juicebox has single handedly turned Mondays into one of my favourite days of the week!
Loved this episode. Must have been absolutely mind melting and overwhelming to find all that.
Thats rad man cheers 🍻
I can't believe I never saw the link between the liberty walk style and bosozoku culture, after seeing all those cars at the liberty walk shop it makes complete sense
Yeah man super cool when you think about it
Just like kanjo bouzouku has that addictive shoutty rasp
That Liberty walk garage was unreal, the martini Lambo was a wide boy
Yeah man, crazy stuff.
'Heads blown clean off us' is the best way to describe even watching this trip. Just incredible.
Genuinely scared of when the time comes that you guys upload the last and final video of this series lol
Marine squash is the best scent
Its fantastic
I've wanted to go to Japan and look at all this all of my life thank you for letting me go on this journey with you it's GREAT !!!!!!!!🤯🤯🤯🤯
Glad you've enjoyed it so far 🍻
"we all thought we were gonna die" part 2
A recurring theme on the trip
OOOHHH MAAAN HERE WE GO AGAIN! WHAT A BEAUTIFUL JAPAN EPISODES 😭😭😭
This is the best trip ever.
It was an awesome time, not sure we will be able to top it.
Binge watching these while I have insomnia, kicking he booze. Time for my car culture roots to come out again
Big love and respect to all ye. Cheers
Hate too be that guy but honestly, thank you for doing this. Like I'm not being funny even though it's good for your channel and all that, you didn't HAVE to share any of this footage.
Literally allowed me to see what fulfilling one of my dream trips, for the exact same purpose as you lads, would be like. And my mind is melting every episode at the things that are there to see and capture. Love the content, massive respect.... this incredible car culture will never die.
I really appreciate that comment man, these videos have been a selfish act of documenting the stuff we love, people watching them has just been a bonus.
7min:59sec That is one amazing and historically significant piece of machinery made great by that team and those drivers in IMSA racing back in the early 90's. NPTI 300ZX.
That Noby Booth 2dr is gorgeous. No silly wide wheels or over the top style, very traditional AE86, definitely a shop I'd be interested in visiting
Yeah man, such a great car. You'll have to make the trip sometime
Liberty walk is like that kid in class who talks back at the teachers and just don’t give a fuck, we don’t publicly support him but we all secretly admire him... 😁
That sums it up perfectly
Hollywood must have called by now, don't forget were you came from lads👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
😂😂
30:47 I would be like glued to the left line of cars. Holy shit, this is dreamland.
Everyone's gawking at the liberty walk miura and I just want to know the deal with the Honda Life 360 sat next to it lol
Hahah
I'm just sat here speechless looking at these gorgeous cars. My heart is racing just looking at it, can't imagine being there in real life just seeing the cars I idolise. Gotta love Japan.
Big time! It was a wild selection of crazy moments.
The miura is one if the nicest cars made ever imo so ahead of its time
I can fully understand the absolute brain meltdown from all the amazing car stuff! 😂
When I went to Tokyo in 2017 I ended up at the Tokyo fresh car meet at Odaiba that Noriaro visited briefly that got shut down by police THE FIRST NIGHT, cool cars everywhere! Some that've been featured on Speedhunters etc. And the streets were PACKED with cars trying to get in as well.
Had to pause the second day for obvious reasons and then spent the third day at TAS.
I was so satisfied with cars afterwards that the remaining week could've featured whatever 😃 But had to include a visit to the Toyota City Showcase at Odaiba as well!
The LBW Advan Miura is by the way one of the most striking cars I have ever seen in real life, such a mean looking machine!
Incredible story man! Pretty sure Flip was at that meet too.
The episodes keep on getting better. Love seeing the random Japan areas
Cheers Steve
At this point I don't even understand how you guys don't have much more subs!
Im just glad the right kind of people are appreciating the videos.
Nothing better than juicebox after a long Monday in school and a whole pile of homework
Hope it was worth the wait
Watching this is like watching Firefly. It's making me sad know there's only a handfull of episodes then it'll be over. Takes me with you if you go again
These shops are looking insane, with this kind of car any car enthusiast would go crazy 😍
Big time!
These vids are the absolute highlight of my week. I can't thank you guys enough for all the hard work you've put into creating and editing these. The wait was definitely worth it. Already looking forward to next Monday.
I really appreciate that Justin 🍻
The Kai Kogashiwa turn jumping display 😂
34:24 ”Lovely"
車について詳しくないけど、ここ好き。
Just watching this is overwhelming. I don't know what to freak out about. "it's just part of the furniture"... Couldn't of said it better.
No fucking way you sat in the Steve millen Z32?? Mind blow. The actual #75 too wow wee goals lads big goals
Yeah man that was an awesome moment.
I've been absolutely loving this series and this footage, makes for some absolutely great watching! Thanks lads!
Really appreciate that Tony!
The atmosphere in the mountains songs beautiful man 🥰
Just come in from a great days fishing,pb of a 10.3lb pike on the royal canal just outside clondra Longford....and forgot all about today's upload just got even better!
🍻
Some amazing cars there so beautiful to see them! 😍😍 I can't wait until I go to Japan! Happy Monday everyone! Ps when are you refilling the Merch shop?
Cheers Ben, once the series is finished we are getting the shop back up and running.
Hopes dreams and hard work are universal languages.
Ahhh Neil u Should have warned me about this episode ! You wern,t wrong when you said keep watching ! Noby's was good a husband and wife team , Liberty Walk,s shops are Amazing and the cars in the random dealers were mind blowing ,that white 180b datsun that came out of the garage just at the end i used to service 1 for a teacher in my old school in crumlin many moons ago !! EPIC NEIL !!!!!!
Thats unreal, wonder if the Dastun is still around? Yeah it was a nice little ending to the video seeing that roll out of UpGarage.
Pure class lads
This is a great series. The videography is excellent. Well done, lads.
Love the random 300zx there at the track
Mary's fancy chocolate box in noby booth 😂
They were pretty fancy
How good is that! 😂
That Kenmeri is perfection! You guys nailed it with this series. Much love and thanks from Canada
I have to keep stopping and backing up and rewatching some of it... Wow.. just flipping wow! It's one thing to go look at amazing stuff, but it's another thing all together, to put it on video so cleanly! Neil, the Attenborough of JDM!
Yeah man I'm very fortunate we were in a position to do this.
You went to Anjo/Mikawa! Noby Booth is one of the coolest little 86 shops ever (and the owner is VERY talkative haha).
Yeah man! What a great place.
Flip's "ohh shit" at the end neatly sums up this whole episode. Just mind blowing stuff through and through, and absolutely everywhere!
If I had to pick a Skyline myself it'd be an(other) R33, but I understand the lust for an R34 for sure, and that's a very tidy example you found there for sure :D
It's okay to dream Reuben, you can take it home next year! Or maybe you've already started the process of acquiring one and we're just behind on the videos and don't know yet!
Loving the slow pans, letting us get a good old look at all the cars from all different angles, and the music is great too.
I'll definitely be rewatching this whole series in the future, it's so well done
Much appreciated Kim
Lads, this series is awesome, so cool to see, Neil, Ruben and Flip just be themselves, but also get so widely appreciated, not just by us lads here in the Emerald Isle, but also from across the world and it's totally deserved. But just one think is wrecking my brain, how to feck Neil did you plan on bringing an AE86 bonnet home with ya on the plane????????????
All will be revealed in an upcoming episode 😂
7:44 suss that RT55 Corona, they're like the 2000GT's derivative little 4-banger brother. Whatever color the 2000GT came with you could also spec on the Corona. Admittedly funky looking cars but they could seriously spank Hakosuka arse back in the day.
9:53 sick Sports 800, love this tic-tac on wheels.
THANK YOU!!... this video took away my many cares and worries tonight , love this stuff
25:45 yooooo wtf this thing is amazing!
Home from a day of hard work, bring on the Juice
🍻🍻
🤯 thank you for documenting this.. world class yet again boys!!
i like to think a japanese dude will geek out about my 97 sierra one day lol
there's a few of them obs trucks making waves out there haha
All them 71s were toooooo nice
Too nice is right, tough to comprehend that level of awesomeness after a trip to Liberty Walk
Teaser for next week.
Ohhhhh shhhhhhitt.
Advan bicycle for Rueben. What is the idea of bending the number plate 90 degree? Incredible video
prolly so the cameras can't catch them lol
Another comment for the lads of juicebox
Thats the thing with Japan. You go there, your expectations are already through the roof and somehow everything you visit manages to be even more exciting then you imagined it. Even the mundane things are just cool, like vending machines which are always perfectly cold or hot. When I was at Ebisu on a normal workday, I was afraid that nothing is gonna happen there. But the Opposite, some of the best drifting I ever experienced happended that day, the weather was just perfect, people were aweseome. As cheesy as it sounds, but those "Perfect Day Anime Moments" exist, at least in Japan, haha. Not a single day where my mind wasnt blown at least once. I said it before, but I love how your Experiences seem to be on the same positive side.
Its the only place that has ever exceeded my expectations like that, its hard to convey in these videos.
Love this series so much boys. I was over there Nov/Dec 2019, and so terribly, painfully, desperate to get back.
I know the feeling man!
This series is just amazing.
This is 100x better than Netflix !
Much appreciated man
man the series just keeps on getting better and better :)
Cheers Tristan
I adore these videos as an ageing 45 year old. I totally agree about older car fans in Ireland. I was always into cars but bought my first sti Impreza when I was 27 then had 2 more sti s and an evo 7 . As I got into my 30s though I bought a house , and then had a family and all that goes with it . That stuff costs loads of money. Health insurance, life insurance etc . I have a 2017 new shape Bmw 5 series. It’s a beautiful car I’m not complaining but I’d love a old shape Impreza or evo again to have the craic in but it’s too expensive. A lot of older car fans in Ireland are really old , like 65 to 75 with old mg s or cortinas or Ford Granada s . Their families are reared, mortgage paid off and have that surplus few quid I think. Keep up the good work guys
True man its a good insight into things with the generation ahead of ours. Its hard to have it all here unfortunately.
@@juiceboxforyou I simply adore the channel and have told all my friends about it . I admire people who do what they love for a living it’s really inspiring
Don't want this series to end! Will you ever do another Juicebox t-shirt?
100% once the series ends, and we get back to the 86 build, ill have more time to dedicate to relaunching the store.
I don't normally comment on any videos, but this series needs to be turned into a blu-ray box set! Throw in some one off shirts for the series and i'll buy it.
Id love to release this series with a book, thats the plan at the moment.
Real gold is incredible
Incredible - how on earth are there still so many insane cars in Japan?!
Pretty much my favourite thing on the internet right now!!! Always a sense of Sadness when I get to the end of each segment.... Bring on next Monday (and I NEVER look forward to Mondays!! :) ) Keep up the great work guys
I really appreciate that man cheers.
All those Kenmeri's and Hakosuka's... 😍

I never knew Mondays could be the best day of the week, even though I'm commenting this on a Tuesday. Was washing my car last night so I didn't have time to watch it then. :3
Thats awesome man hope it was worth the wait.
This vid helped my depression a bit today. Nice1 lads, love the content. 💯👊 Huge fan of the juice box boys already. Awesome coverage.
