    Just to give you an insight I use the gundam model panel marker to do the fine lines for my body shell. The Gundam toy models take a lot of precision to make them look real. This marker workers wonders and takes a lot of stress out of the designer when doing fine lines and has very little or no smudge at all. Besides RC drifting me and the wife do miniatures, airbrushing and many other hobbies to make them look real we know all the tricks and trades to detailing small model toys. Enjoy!

      Thanks for your tips! Much appreciated. I will definitely look into that marker as well. That's awesome you both sound super creative and definitely a great hobby for that! 🤟🙏

    One of the best mods i did on my Rmx 2.0 was the Tr60 shocks. Made the car more consistent and predictable. I highly recommend them

      Absolutely the TDA Shocks are the best I’ve ever built and they feel like silk. I run MST 5wt Mineral Oil and they’re awesome!

    As a fan of your channel I just want to give you my honest opinion and I just feel like you upgraded to soon. I have my mst completely stock except for replacing the servo and I got it down pretty good already. In this video when you tried to upgrade your mst in order to fix your front end grip problem I feel it only made thing worse or the same because now you have to adjust to the new set up before you can even learn the technique. Someone in the comment mention something about throttle control and less angle I think that is the key to solving your problem.

      Thanks for your thoughts and opinions. Alot of the upgrades are because I wanted to not that I needed to. The stock setup out of the box is really one of the best to get on the track and get into drifting. I spent way too much upgrading certain parts but the carbon chassis was mostly cosmetic. Most of the grip issues was the need for front and rear alignment which I address in a separate video.

      Awesome glad to hear that. One of my main reasons for buying the mst was to stay cheap , keep it cheap and just have fun.

    Love your setup and the BMW Shell looks epic!! I have the E30 M3RB and put the same upgrades on mine and wondering what you have done to the turnbuckles? What is your Front and Rear Camber set at now? This is the cool stuff we need to know please. 👍🏼

    I personally wouldn't turn the servo speed down on the transmitter nor mess with steering expo cause from my experience it only makes the servo feel glitchy. If you have a programmable servo just try to tune it for the feel you want, also make sure the gain knob on your v4 gyro is in the middle position if your gyro gain is set to a channel on your transmitter and also turn off gyro assist mode if you haven't already 👍

    • @edriftin
      @edriftin  Před 7 měsíci

      Thank you for your inputs! Currently the gyro is on hard and normal mode with red led. I'm not sure how to program the servo so that is something I need to look into. I believe the gain is set to zero on the gyro itself and setup on a channel on the transmitter. I am running around negative 74 gain on the radio for the gyro.

    • @radsierra2138
      @radsierra2138 Před 7 měsíci

      @@edriftin yea on the v4 gyro the gain knob needs to be turned to the center if not it will also give the servo a weird feedback/respond, I use the v4 gyro on most of my chassis. If you're going to the track on Thursday I can help you tune the servo with my programmer.

    Hey, what color is your gyro at? Green or red? I have the same gyro and I noticed the red mode makes the car oversteer a lot. Loving the videos!

      I forgot to say, to put the gyro in the green mode you need to put positive gain in your transmitter

    Again...awesome videos and extremely helpful to newbies to drifting such as myself. I've definitely learned a lot from your channel and really enjoy the quality info you're putting out. I've found that using the throttle to turn instead of a full lock turn helps with spinning out a lot. I've learned less full lock steering input helps a ton with steering and spinning out. Did you swap over the carbon fiber chassis yourself or did you have a buddy do it? Just wondering how hard it was ?? Keep the videos coming !!

    • @edriftin
      @edriftin  Před 7 měsíci +1

      Thank you for your support and suggestions! Definitely am still getting used to using the throttle to turn for sure. It's getting easier every session I drive. I swapped out the chassis completely by myself. Just take your time and do it sections at a time I found to be easier to not get screws mixed up. Thank you for watching I do appreciate you. 🙏🤟
