My family has a cabin on a lake in the same region of Maine, its awesome to see you work your way through the same types of water that I fish when we are up there!

Not in Maine, my local pike pond is 2,000 acres in size. still classified as a pond, there's about 6,000 ponds & lakes in maine and an additional 32,000 miles of streams and rivers connecting them. I think its in the top 5 most individual bodies of water for a state in the US.
Smallmouth fishing is so fun! Caught my pb a tank out of a river and even the small ones fight like crazy.

This reminds me of my childhood. I was lucky enough to go up to Maine with family for several years. The first time I was 5.. and I caught the largest fish of the day, and still my largest bass to date, 34 years later. A fat 21 inch small mouth, weight near 8 lbs. If you have a chance to go visit Grand Lake Stream, there is phenomenal fishing there.
I can attest to grand lake stream having really big smallies

The closer your yak wheels are to the middle the easier it is to pull because your weights distributed better, if you have the wheels in the back you’re having to carry almost all the weight.

I'm sure you know this, but they make a Circular Polarizer filter for you're done. You should get one. That would be awesome to be up in the sir filming you catching a fish or watching a fish swim up and hit that lure.
