Imagine this stage was in generations it would be cool if they made you swap between classic sonic and modern sonic in the zone.

My point is characters randomly appear out of thin air in generations so they could think of something.
Maybe the other sonic waits at a checkpoint for their turn or something like that.

I can imagine:
If Eggmanland was actually a part of Sonic Generations, Eggman would have probably completed Eggmanland, making it a much harder level than Sonic Unleashed Eggmanland @_@

I dunno. That time attack level was pretty darn stupid.
The level wasn’t too hard, just very time consuming and the only reasons I died on them is because I was at the 30 minute mark and just wanted it to end so I got impatient...
I remember when I finally beat the first day stage in Eggmanland and my fastest attempt was like 20 minutes. Then I saw that you had to beat the second day stage in like 6 minutes and at that point I just broke.
Side note: I only played the Wii version. I don't know if it is easier or harder on the Xbox 360.
Like it or hate it, Eggmanland is the closest to genesis level design in 3D we ever got.

@@BitchChill In terms of replicating the alternate paths, dangerous obstacles, and pure difficulty of Scrap Brain/Metropolis/etc.

I like how the stage is still 7+ minutes long with the werehog sections done by regular Sonic. (10+ if it's your first time doing the stage.)
Really cool stage design imo. I wonder how fucking long they took making just this one level, it's gigantic.

@Student Zachary Torres Sorry to say an opinion is wrong, but when every game up to 06 has had at least one required platform waiting section, it's not a "no go" since it's standard to the series.

At one point in this stage I made death threats to sonic unleashed
I threatened to send pipe bombs to the level designers
The fact that this level lasts 11 minutes, even without the werehog, is just FLABBERGASTING to me

I think it would've been cool if you made it switch to the night theme in the slower sections, kinda like how actual Generations does a slightly slower-paced version of the OST when you are slow. But, even without that, this is still really awesome!
This is so good, I know this stages design from the back of my hand because of how much of a pain in the ass it was
oh god, i just now learned that generations sonic's jump is no where near as floaty as unleashed sonic's jump
which version of Unleashed Sonic you're using? I like the boost aura in this one more than mine
brianuuuSonic Reborn I am using TwilightZoney's Unleashed Model and Style Sonic mods with the SU Camera and Physics mod by cmsunite, which gives the more 'Unleashed' boost aura. Your ultimate unleashed pack is amazing btw, and I love your videos!

You should try redoing this with modern day Unleashed mods. It's scary how accurate it is now- they even almost completely cloned the HUD!
4:52 the fact of how for this stage, only modern sonic appears on the loading screen instead of both Sonics really shows how much better the level would be with Classic Sonic.

Imo, the Werehog sections with the Hedgehog kinda reminds me of Sonic 06

@@ReverofEnola Probably because of the slower paced homing-attack method of attacking the robots, and how the enemies are grouped in small circles in an open room/space. Very similar to 06.

In the original game, this unfair pile of muck litterally 47 minutes to complete with a good couple of deaths.

Either Die and Retry, or walk at a snail pace...which you cannot do anyway most of the time...

the unleashed version is better, and i got a faster time than this dude, i got 8:47:15 (8 minutes, 47 seconds, and 15 milliseconds) without dying once, and i got the S rank
Well congrats "dude", you learnt a stupidly designed level layout by heart and managed to get through it nicely. Bravo.
That doesn't change my point.
The engine, and its physics are just not well suited for this level, or vice versa.
Aby Nighteater thank you, but what did you expect, its Eggmanland, it's been eggmans goal since adventure, it's the ultimate death trap for sonic, of course they're gonna make it super hard, I think the level has a nice design, amazing speed, platforming, and some decent exploration. But we all have our opinions.

Eggmanland in sonic unleashed ps3 is freaking easy, I did 12 minutes without dying and without m-speed, d-speed or wall pass glitch
I would rather not be the Werehog on this terrible stage for PS3/360 Unleashed.
But this level isn't terrible though. It's really fun and rewards mastery and replaying of it.
