- Bannerghatta National Park -Bannerghatta Zoo, near Bangalore, Karnataka, was founded in 1970 and declared as a national park in 1974. In 2002 a portion of the park, became a biological reserve, the Bannerghatta Biological Park.

Bannerghatta safari is not even a real safari. It is an enclosed area in which animals are kept and they take you there in a closed vehicle. It's just like a zoo where the enclosure is bigger and you can go inside on a vehicle. Animals are not living in a free environment like other national parks.

How come, the Tiger is in an open enclosure, since it can be Dangerous and jump over if required, but the Lion and Leopard are inside the cages ?

@@pavanpro But in the National Geographic channel, Discovery channel and Animal Planet, CZcams etc, I have seen many Tigers and Tigresses swimming in rivers and also catching and eating crocodiles. Maybe this is a captive and zoo bred Tiger or Tigress, hence it might not have developed such skills and abilities.
