Okay so great tips only thing is whatever they have in a small box of wipes is all they get hmmmm I don't agree with that lol ummm my kids might still be hungry and I wouldn't let them starve after they eat what's in a diaper wipe box . Tfs
Crafty Addiction she knows her kids and she knows what they need. They are still going to be getting meals during the trip but the kids don't need more snacks than that.

The Family Fudge no kidding. That's the thing about social media, sometimes if you don't lay out every little thing, people make incorrect assumptions.
+The Family Fudge I made a separate video with exactly what food we brought on this road trip for the meals, as well as the activities I brought the for kids 😉 This roadtrip was an overnighter, like 9pm to 6am so we didn't eat a lot of meals during time, the kids just slept. czcams.com/video/ZrNrSsl5jwQ/video.html
I remember when I was young, my sister made a box of small gifts for us to open along the road. Everything in the box was wrapped in newspaper and had a label on the front with the name of the town where we were to open that gift. So, for example, when we got to Albuquerque, we would open the gift labeled Albuquerque. The gifts were not expensive. It might just be a pack of gum for us to share. Sometimes it was a list of jokes to read out loud. Sometimes it was a cartoon from the newspaper. Or it might have been a story to read. That really helped me as a kid to look forward to getting to the next town, and to have something to think about on the way.

My mom loved these tips. We were thinking about driving to Disney World. From where I live that would be over about 20 hours these tips really helped.

I love the idea of using baby wipe containers to hold snacks! My kids are older now, 9 and 11, so we don't buy baby wipes anymore, but I wish I thought of that when they were little. Great video!

We went on a road trip from Tripoli to Tunis a year ago, we used alot of these tips and it helped us alot!

I may have to use some of your tips the next trip we take, I made the mistake of taking my children 2 times to North Carolina (2016 and 2017 ) and it was a disaster each time, the bathroom stops and food stops were crazy! NEXT trip, I'm planning ahead instead of last moment!!!

New subscriber question, I have a 15 month old and we are thinking of doing a 16 hour trip as well. How did you keep griffin comfortable and occupied? Or as far as timing with naps and bedtime? Obviously he is walking now so the trip would have been different lol. But what are your suggestions.
When the kids were little we traveled long distances in the car at night only.
Thank you so much for responding. We thought about that too. So whoever drove I would assume slept during the day or you would take turns to rest? By the way I used your road trip ideas on a recent airplane trip. They allowed our toddlers food so I had a couple bunches of lunches ideas. I even packed a plastic art supply box in a suitcase filed with snacks and supplies. It worked great

We start with a prayer too and we have some nice jim brickman music to listen too that helps the kids sleep.
While we start out trips with prayers we crank up our punk and reggae as we drive... It's relaxing lol
