    LARQ water bottle interchangeable filter and purification caps make the LARQ water bottle one of the best solutions for being able to produce pure, better-tasting water while traveling, backpacking, camping, or in your own home.
    There are two different LARQ caps; the PureVis UV Cap, and the Bottle Filtered Cap, you can purchase them as accessories or you can buy the LARQ Bottle PureVis or LARQ Bottle Filtered which will come with the respective caps when you buy the bottle.
    Here's a brief outline of what each cap does:
    PureVis Cap - UV-C technology built into the PureVis cap, eradicates up to 99.9999% of bacteria and 99.99% of viruses in Adventure Mode, meaning you can sterilize water found in streams while out hiking or camping, for example.
    Bottle Filtered Cap - LARQ's Nano Zero Filter Technology improves the taste of your water and removes lead, chlorine, PFAS, and particulates that meet NSF/ANSI 42, 53 & 401 standards.
    Watch the video to learn why you may want to think about using both caps in a 2-stage purification and filtering process.

    One important point when using both is the water needs to be clear before using the UV cap. Which is going to be tricky as you need to pass the water through the filter cap first and that only works by suction!

      This is true! You could drape fabric over the bottle before filling it. A teeshirt for example

    I have both indeed. However in practice I found one annoying stuff… there is no compact transport box for the purevis cap alone. A bit of a bummer… if you found one please tell me …
    Thanks for the work !

    00:51 🚰 LARQ offers two types of interchangeable caps: one for filtering water and one for purifying it using UV technology.
    02:44 🔄 You can interchange LARQ caps between different bottle sizes, maintaining functionality and aesthetics.
    06:02 🏞 LARQ's filter cap improves water taste by filtering out sediments, while the UV purification cap ensures protection from waterborne viruses.
    09:27 🔵 Double-tapping the PureVis cap activates an intense purification cycle for cleaner water.
    11:53 💧 After purification, using the filter cap enhances taste, providing a two-stage water processing system.
    13:27 🔒 Locking the cap prevents accidental activation and conserves battery life, offering convenience during travel.

    Would like to see Larq offer a neoprene cover for the PureVis cap to protect it while rattles around in my pack

    Thank you for this video, my boyfriend bought me the purevis water for my birthday and am going to ask him to get the filter lid for christmas.
    I refuse to leave the house without a water bottle, so if i get the filter i can use other sources instead of just tap water.

    Thank you for posting this. Would the filter cap from a 25oz bottle also fit in the 17oz bottle or is stem too long? If the stem is the same size, does the 25oz filter bottle have left over water at the bottom?

    • @trailandkale
      @trailandkale  Před rokem +2

      Great question! The 25oz filter cap is too long for the 17oz bottle because of that longer stem. And yes although the 17oz filter cap does screw onto the 25oz bottle ok, there is extra space at the bottom of the bottle.

      so if I want to use them interchangably, i'll have to buy 25 oz insulated LARQ Bottle PureVis to go with the bottle filter cap. I want to buy 17 oz insulated as I like to have a smaller bottle with me, is there any solution.

    Can i not just drop a portable filter (like a gopure?) into my purevis capped bottle? Does that somehow make the filter ineffective?

    • @trailandkale
      @trailandkale  Před 4 měsíci

      Not sure how that would filter as it wouldn’t fit around it, unless you’re referring to a straw filter

      I am traveling to Barcelona Spain next week and have been reading up on whether my PureVis would be good enough for the tapwater there. I do not have the filter cap. Based on the Larq blog it seems like the filter cap would maybe be the best option, but it's just not clear to me.

    • @trailandkale
      @trailandkale  Před 2 měsíci

      @mollyperkins5150 the filter cap will do the job perfectly and you’ll get better tasting water. Uv doesn’t make the water taste any different.

    Anyone knows the company contact number? I tried contacting them via email, they don't answer, just sending repeated answers, that we get back to you. But no body does !!!
    Even on their registration form for warranty , the last digit of Serial number can't be added!!! Please someone help me on this. I need to talk to live agent, or customer service. Thanks
