I will say as someone who went through an awful breakup a few years ago and is still processing the grief from it - it will eventually get easier, even if it takes an insane amount of time. I still miss her but she's not a part of my identity like she was back then (and when I was fully grieving) and I can look back on those times happily. A million people have probably said versions of this to you but there are a million fish in the sea all totally unique with their own fun quirks and internal selves that open up as you get to know them better. You will get past how you feel and it can form you into a stronger person. I would also recommend therapy if you can; it's helpful to have a different perspective other than your own. Some people have close friend groups that they feel comfortable sharing intimate emotions with, but I don't and thus therapy was very beneficial in helping me get out of my own head.
You guys/girls dont need him/her. If you live your life dependent on someone who doesnt care abt you then you arent living. Forget abt them. Imagine what you can accomplish without them in your mind. Be the best to ever walk on this earth💪💪
