This actually looks very intriguing. I’ve yet to find a post battle base management system that hits as hard as xcom. If anything can fill that void I’ll be 100% all in.

Personally, this game really reminds me of Wildermyth. It's a strategy game in which you make decisions for the characters throughout certain missions, which in turn decides the character's story throughout your playthrough. I'm honestly surprised you haven't played it on your channel, and I really recommend it!
I put some hours in this game, after a certain event, missions turn real hard I believe. Turn restrictions are too harsh for my taste. Some of my units got wounded because of this rushing, I threw tactics out the window to meet the turn restriction. Played XCOM 2 and Midnight Suns but I haven't felt so rushed like this. Would like to watch this as a series from you nevertheless! Love the turn based content!
I'm not that far in I think, I'm a lil after the agreement area. And you're right with the turns, I had a situation where I had to fight 3 groups. I wasn't expecting the 3rd, i was like TF? But I actually pulled it off

I love any turn based tactical grid game, and this seems like a nice mix of battle brothers and XCOM.

Really enjoying this game so far. Got one playthrough where I cheated to get gold, dismissed the original companions and hired all of the recruits in the garrison.
I am a little miffed about cell based movement systems, but the game has a nice textured battlefield with elevation and good looking terrain. I am going to pick it up just to support the devs.

Even though this looks very lovely and much fun, the video in itself very much sounds like an advertisement, paid for by the developers. Which isn't a bad thing. Only usually you do not sound so 'pressed' (for lack of a better term).
Very entertaining nonetheless, might make a good playthrough (as does Hades II, by the way ^^)

this game is very fun, in the late game there will be random missions that can be played and sometimes I get very difficult/impossible missions even though the mission board says easy... my best late game 2 crusader 2 alchemist, i love aoe damage and strong fellas with no brain plays

I'm playing this right now, the fact that they say certain missions are normal and still getting my ass beat lol. Difficulty is up there, I also used every weapon on the battlefield against em. Just have to leave dude alive

The more I see of this game, the more it reminds me of Wartales, but with less impressive graphics. Even the prison and blacksmith screens are vaguely reminiscent of the ones in the other game. May be a coincidence or could be direct inspiration. The ability to deploy canine companions and bears and shackle wounded foes only reinforces the comparison.

Not sure but if I'm playing wrong but only way to play is having at least 3 beast masters which give you extra units because otherwise this game just has unlimited units coming at you. Overwatch is a joke and units only do 4-5damage lol

Performance is terrible for me. My PC isn't a very powerful one however i run Cyberpunk at medium with no problems. This one runs very badly.

Will sound like a rant but its not, im not angry, computer is defiinatly not my expertise either but im puzzled as to how is it possible that xcom wich was released 12 years ago is at first glance so much better then this on every aspect. Especially on the eyes, is Xcom some sort of fluke? sort of Goat of its gendra that will not be seen again? Im looking at this video and im annoyed by the graphics. Has the industry changed that much? People working there just care less then before? FFS theres been 12 years of tech advances with computers...i doesnt makes senses to me that 'new' stuff seems crappier then old stuff. I think only steam workshop could save this thing and make me get it. Otherwise ill just keep playing xcom i suppose.
XCOM was made by a big studio with seasoned professionals and the first XCOM did definitvely not look better than this.

Sadly the characters VA is annoying, the same phrases repeated and not truly relevant. And there seems to be little feeling for your team too.
The actual tactics seem to have improved, but at 40 euros, I am afraid that I will have to pass.

get the money and get out...this game looks good and such..but its getin boring and death super fast,same mission same gameplay each time,nothing new,its horrible.
Crown Wars is running at 30FPS on console, absolutely disgraceful, Artifact Studios and Nacon are spitting in your face.
It's simply not acceptable, I refuse to play games running at 30fps.
on my potato pc 60+ fps low graphic and all graphic settings are turned off
