This is meant particularly for the boys & Girls in the Schools, Colleges & Versities. Worshipping to Goddess of Knowledge & Wisdom. Hence No classes, no home works, simple respite from a dull daily routine of attending classes & facing Exams, class tests etc. Pure joyful day only for students. So the first festival of 2024 is Saraswati Puja. Hence Kumartuli again vibrant with new creation of all flying colors & styles. One after another days will pass and Great Durga Puja Festival is only 8 months after. Overseas orders for Fiberglass Durga Pratima has begun pouring in. Saraswati Pratima preparation is in full swing.The Idols varied from miniature to huge sized Pratimas are made keeping in every devotees pocket to buy them. The price ranges in between from INR700/- to 5000/- to INR10000/-. More the materials more is the price. But no compromise in the art work in making each & every Saraswati Pratima since Kumartuli after all has a famous reputation in clay idol making world wide. We luckily been able to shoot Dristidaan/Chokkhudaan of Devi Saraswati & the video begins with that shot & expression of this channel has also been said. The Goddess of all knowledge & wisdom & the creator of 4 Vedas which reflects the Life of India's rich cultural philosophy is going to be worshipped on 14 February, 2024 as usual. Particularly this Festival in Kolkata City as well as West Bengal is free enjoying of Fun & Frolic sans without any strict routine academic daily schedule of Scholls, Colleges & Universities. 3 days of pure Joy to be enjoyed by the student folk. The young studentfolk from different Schools in Kolkata around hovering around the artisans hub situate at Kumartuli where varieties are infinite. Prices ranges from least amount of INR700/- upto INR10,000. Moreover there are Para clubs who organize this Saraswati Puja with pomp and grandeur. Anjali & Kichuri is a must for the students. Much younger boys & girls wear light yellow color dress to hail this Puja. Since this Puja takes place on the very outset of the Spring after the Winter is also called Basant Panchamee.
