- Plenty of people recognised that For Narmer sounds like an eerie version of We All Lift Together, so I tempo matched them and then overlayed them, and that chorus is definitely something..
I own neither of these songs, both belong to DE.

With Lift together being the response in the choruses, it sounds more like a resistance piece than a unity piece, a battle more than a harmony. A cry in rebellion into a cold unhearing void.
Or, perhaps more fitting for Narmer, an unfeeling, blazing sky.
To me it sounded like the original piece was trying to claw its way free from being drowned out by the narmer song
“Lift” was always secretly a resistance piece, imho. It openly speaks of solidarity, but “hides the heart” of their revolution.

The two songs are probably two sides of the same coin or some kind of polar opposites. This was probably intentional to some level

Yeah these songs weren't just composed to be dualist, they were clearly composed to FIGHT. Top tier.
Remember the Vitruvian?

Narmer's primary symbol is the red mirror of the sun, which represents both the ideals of symmetry and radiance the Orokin Empire valued at their peak, and Ballas' vanity, turning the entire system into a mirror to reflect his glory. Its ciphers are based on mirrored symmetry as well. The red mirror is the symbol of Hathor, the Eye of Ra - Ra's female counterpart and protector of his rule.
Narmer's colors invert Fortuna's cool blue tones into reddish-orange, the snow melting away from the Orb Vallis itself.
It's all by design. Visual, audio, and thematic elements all building on the core idea of duality. The songs are composed in a mirrored harmony, similar to the duet parts of "Good Riddance" from Hades. So they line up perfectly because they're meant to.
Seriously, the art direction in Warframe is on a whole different level.
I really need to play this game more, I played the New War and just stopped, I was planning on playing again after the next big update, but omg, I really need to get back into the game

I knew the two songs were intended to match up like this. I was NOT expecting it to be MORE disturbing than 'For Narmer' already was.

I felt the same way when I heard this, my jaw dropped at that part
What makes this so much better is through the score alone you can truly tell who won the new war and mental battle every inhabitant of fortuna went through when being forced into the sentients new truth. As when they are synced "for narmer" starts off as the quieter of the two and slowly begins to overpower the lyrics of "we all lift" as where the slower pace and quieter nature of the song works to it's advantage as it becomes more elusive and captivating. Because of this you slowly start to blank we all lift's lyrics all together so you have to truly focus on "we all lift" for it to stand a chance, until all you hear are the final whispers of "for narmer" while "we all lift" has been reduced to nothing but a quiet hum ending quieter than the beginning of "for narmer". Where the hum once showed the unification of the people of fortuna it now shows the acceptance and submission to their new leaders.
You can also see the strength of the veil here as well as unlike "we all lift" we it starts off as a single whistle that everyone ads on top of this remains at the same volume and tempo the entire time with very little being added as the song goes on showing not only the loss of their free will but also their unwavering submission to it.
None of this was probably intended but it's how I felt when listening to it
Side note Nothing hit me harder than when I heard the words "we are all one" where that hopeful melody of we all lift used to stand when I first listened to it because it truly made you feel like you lost.
Knowing the level of detail that goes into DE's art design and worldbuilding, this is probably intended...
Knowing how lazy and uninspired DE has become lately, this is probably not intended.

I like how you still hear the hhhhhhhhhhHHHHHHHHHHPT of the warframe hitting the ground in 'we all lift.'
I really like this. Once the song starts, every 2 all lift lines there is one for narmer, then, when the high part starts both start at the same time, when they are not sync, they look like there complete each other, when they say together, they say narmer, when the song ends, both stop lyrics (in ingame version of for namer). The oposites and similarities between both are great.

I love how the song ends on similar goals, but within a disagreement on intention.

I had a hunch when listening to it during the quest that it was synced with "we all lift together" but to the overlap and filling in between oh my god.

I'd just read Red Rising when Fortuna came out, and Eo's call to "Break the Chains!" rang in my mind as I tried to set a people free as they sang We All Lift Together. To see the people enslaved once more and enjoying it kind of breaks me.

When the chorus starts singing omfg but I like that We All Lift Together is a song about independence and working together while For Narmer is a song about serving someone else/Community or king, so when the chorus starts battling it feels like it's a battle between Independence and Devotion to something or someone. Edit: If you sing For Narmer your following someone else but if you sing We All Lift Together Your following yourself Lmao

That was very much on purpose! When played equally in both ears I found it hard to hear any of the lyrics, and I think dividing them to either ear slightly fixes that.

Kinda wish this was better planned where they dropped one expecting the other and when played at the same time it fills in the gaps for one another while also feeling like a conflicting debate of beliefs. Here you get a bit of that at 1:12

Gonna be honestly these aren't songs that mash up well together at all. Sure they go along the same pace but theres more to a song than just that, theres beat and rhythm to consider. We All Lift Together and Sleeping in the Cold Below mix together perfectly because they're both work songs, one is a chain gang song and the other a sea shanty and both are built the same way with the same kinds of instrumentation. For Narmer however, is a religious hymn, and flows differently by its very nature.
DE should make another game with jackshit in the looting and customization department and just make a single player campaign type game. they've shown they CAN do it and that it would actually be pretty good. imagine if the new war wasn't limited to a crappy version of the warframe engine.(what i mean is warframe is this million mile and hour type parkour game, and they had to make a slow thing in THAT engine, imagine if the game was made for the new war part) A slower paced, Mettle gear style game even with some RTS and third person shooter elements thrown in, with their crazy story line. But anyone could just hope in and go thru the story instead of having to play 100s of hours to get to the juicy bits!!!

the whole tenno reveal only hits so hard because you're probably just used to thinking you're the warframe after being in it for ever
And youre really only attached to the lotus because thats the only "human face" youve had to see for 100s of missions. ect ect
so really it would need to either be a very long game or like a trilogy

I mean, New War start was a lot like old school shooters, and it really felt to me like Unreal Tournament (which DE did help make)
But i agree. They are limited by Warframe, not that Warframe by itself is the problem, more like stuck with it.
