Ghulam Abbas - Shola Tha Jal Bujha Hoon (live in private mehfil)

This famous and extremely melodious ghazal was originally sung and immortalized by Ustad Mehdi Hassan Khan saheb. It is based on Raag Kirwani and written by Ahmed Faraz.
Ghulam Abbas saheb sang this beautiful ghazal at a Mehndi ceremony, in accompaniment of Ustad Shabbir (Jhaari) Khan on the Tabla and Ustad Nasir Khan on the Harmonium.
Even though every note of this ghazal is laced with Mehdi Hassan saheb's baritone voice and all the behlaaway he employed to beautify this, Ghulam Abbas saheb takes his own route and characterizes this ghazal with his own unique style and taken a different 'jagah'.
