    Thank you Maa'm. Just an excellent video. I was searching for video related for learning basics of rotary. Found many though, none were explaining the details as you did on instrument part. I am an Oral Pathologist and practicing since two years. Initial one year used hand files, then moved to Hand Protapers and now want to proceed to Rotary, so wanted to learn basics before purchasing. This video has really put a good platform in my mind. Thank you.

    Could you please suggest which economic range rotatry should I start with.. as I have been working with hand protaper for so long.

    a note... according to the manufacturer, first protaper universal file to be used is the S1 file and we use the SX file if we need an extra coronal flaring.

    I understand why austenite becomes twinned martensite upon stress (and therefore why twinned martensite can revert to austenite when removing this stress) but:
    - Why does austenite become twinned martensite upon cooling?
    - Why is it even relevant to discuss deformed martensite? (Is deformed martensite when you overuse the overused file thus only being fixable by heating)
    Can someone please explain haha :)

    • @abhinavadvani3996
      @abhinavadvani3996 Před 2 lety

      Because on cooling the original shape of atoms on the phase is not changed only the atoms are slightly movied in their respective planes
      Now atoms can movied either in selective right side or selective left side which causes the mirror image during martensite phase the mirror image in which atoms movies slightly left or right called twinning thats why it is more authentic to say austenite become twinned martensite upon cooling

    • @abhinavadvani3996
      @abhinavadvani3996 Před 2 lety

      When a file is in austenite phase on high temperature
      Its twinned phase formed during room temperature
      Now when files is inserted into curved canal stress induce in a file and it than changed into deformed martensite state
      Now When file is withdrawn from canal it takes back into original shape i.e twinned state again.
      And when we autoclave a file temprature increase and it changes into its stable austenite phase .
      So yes , deformed martensite can be fixable by heating it is relevant to discuss to make it into the stable martensite phase.
      Now days R phase technology( twisted files)
      M wire technology (profile files, wave one , reciproc )
      CM wire technology (Hyflex CM)
      Edm wire technology( Hyflex Edm)
      Gold treated files(Protaper gold , wave one gold)
      Blue treated files(Reciproc blue, f-one blue fanta files)
      Max wire technology (xp endo finishers Nd shapers)
      Are there to increase the cyclic resistance of the file and makes the alloy to handle more stress and stable martensite phase to enchance flexibility and fatigue resistance of files in curved canals😉
