Hi Shea ! I used to love the content and your philosophy about trading but lately it has become so repetitive... How many times are you gonna make the same video with different titles? Are you stuck in the youtube monkey wheel? (happens to a lot of youtubers) Also you are pushing a watchlist and scanners now? It feels less and less genuine with every video and its sad because I really liked your channel. I understand my comment is a bit harsh and its just my personal opinion and take on things but I wouldnt post it if I didnt care about the channel. Im just sad of what its slowly becoming. :(
I recommend going to sleep early and meditating every morning 😊
I live in Chicago and recently was able to find a part time job between 9:30-2. I am still learning after a year in the market. I see now why many people don't make it. So many things effect the market especially stocks you think you know. Thanks for sharing your experience. This is definitely a sacrifice but I think it will be worth it for the future. I have kids so I would love for them to learn this one day to.
I’m part time trading in Europe and I recently started working from home. That really made it possible for me to properly get into trading. I just catch up with the work of my ‘real’ job on evenings or weekends. It’s only 1 day per week but I’ll try to work from home 2 days per week soon. Hello, what platforms let you trade more than 3 times per 5 business days?
Becoming a good trade takes time and patience. When i first got into trading i was liquidated twice, and lost my entire mortgage deposit. I could have given up, but decided to learn how to trade and put it into practice. 4 years later and i am glad i made that decision.
My portfolio has good companies, however it has been stalling since last year. I have approximately $200k stagnant in my reserve that needs growth.
When did start finding consistency? ..and more honest question is how long would a rough expectation be to find consistency for a new day trader?
@@feliciacameron9531 I started becoming more consistent in 3 phases, first was when i killed greed, then i became more patient, but he must important part was when i started working with Susan Agnes Hancock a coach who made me understand the importance of avoiding FUD, FOMO AND HERDS mentality. with her entry and exit strategies i was able to grow $10k to $70k in 5 months in a well diversified portfolio.

im a part time to almost full time now, it took me 7years to become profitable. Before that was really all gambling strategies. haha.. after losing for 7yrs, i learnt to be more discipline....
Risk management is really the key to success in trading....

Hey Shay, thank you very much for your hard work. I am learning a lot from you. I have been a part-time daily + swing trader for 3 months only. My time zone allows me to trade from 5:30 or 6:30 pm to mid night, wish is good for my full-time job and trading.

The amount of time I am trading for compensation is okay.. but I want to spend that time with my family...

The main thing I do is trade options (SPY). I have been able to make $100 a day or more. I will report back the 1st week in April, and let you know how my 1st week goes. My 8-4 on the west coast didn't allow for that
I was in the military, so we start exercising at about 6 am, finish no later than 7, now it's time to shower and rush to work until the boss tells us we can go home (maybe it will be 4pm, maybe it will be 8pm)
But now I'm out and full time futures trader, wish I knew about it earlier though
I used to execute a few trades before I left for work in the morning. Sometimes I would lose money on my way to the office.
I struggle as a full time trader. Thanks to this video, I learned new strategies.
I live on the East coast US and work second shift 4 days a week and my trading day starts around 8am and ends at the bell. I can honestly say, I'm always sleepy.

I’m doing this now for the past year and it’s literally like another full time job just sitting around and waiting for a good trade to happen. Sometimes I barely get any sleep because I’m trading Asian and London sessions overnight. But it’s worth it when money is made. You can execute on your phone and iPad but your analysis needs to be done in a bigger computer screen. I actually have my phone handy and logged into my cancel all screen just in case my computer or internet crashes.

I live in Malaysia and the timezone is pretty sweet tbh. Depending on Day Light Savings, I trade at around 9.30pm of 10.30pm. This allows me to still eat out (earlier) and come back to plan and execute trades. Since you’re Canadian-Taiwanese, I’m curious to hear whether you trade the Asian stock markets? Shanghai SE? HK, Shenzhen etc? That’s my next step to figure out after I’m more consistent

Nice video. When I started trading 24 years ago I had to place my orders through a broker. I started with futures. No smart phones then! I use my phone now to enter and exit trades. So much easier now.

Love the videos, Im new to trading still trading on a demo account for about 6 months now, Learnt all the mistakes i recently heard from some of ur videos, Indicators , Revenge trading, bad risk management. Taken all that into consideration and is now making more Wins then losses. Also skipped from 1m 5m charts where i though it was better to trade XD

swing trade - buy it, hold it overnight, sell the next day(or a couple days) - - - and does not count against you for the PDT rule...? isn't it still a trade and won't it count as your 1 of 4 allowed/day trades...on the day it's sold..? thanks (just wanted to clarify.....kinda vague info on the web in general about it)

Do you swing trade over the weekend besides extended hours during the week?
trading doesnt even require 10% of work effort. I can trade with without even looking at any chart. I've done it with iphone on super bad wifi on international flight.
