- Thermal imaging camera - FLIR in the Classroom
By using Thermal Imaging, the infrared radiation of the electromagnetic spectrum is measured to produce images called thermograms. The amount of radiation emitted by on object on the earth surface varies with temperature - therefore thermal imaging makes it possible to visualize variation in temperature.
Thermogram of a traditional building in the background and a "passive house" in the foreground
Infrared thermography (IRT), thermal imaging, and thermal video are examples of infrared imaging science. Thermographic cameras usually detect radiation in the long-infrared range of the electromagnetic spectrum (roughly 9,000-14,000 nanometers or 9-14 µm) and produce images of that radiation, called thermograms. Since infrared radiation is emitted by all objects with a temperature above absolute zero according to the black body radiation law, thermography makes it possible to see one's environment with or without visible illumination. The amount of radiation emitted by an object increases with temperature; therefore, thermography allows one to see variations in temperature. When viewed through a thermal imaging camera, warm objects stand out well against cooler backgrounds; humans and other warm-blooded animals become easily visible against the environment, day or night. As a result, thermography is particularly useful to the military and other users of surveillance cameras. - Věda a technologie
What is the model of this camera?
Super 👏👏
These are great! Enjoy.
What is that material that blocks visible light but passes infrared rediation? Looks like some kind of plastic bag to me
Молодец, очень интересно.
Thass butiful.. Bruv.
1:40 Why is there a hot spot on the plate? Does the camera create a hot spot on things it focuses on?
Nope. Aluminiom plate reflects IR radiation, emitted by thermal camera, so it works like a mirror for thermal camera. You`ve just seen a heated thermal camera, but the plate did not change it`s temperature.
amazin, thank u
Wonderful
Thanks now i can go outside and hiding from predators
I really wanted ice to be pour into the hot water in the plastic container
Is that plexiglass that your holding up first?.
yea it definitely would be, it would be one of the best for everyday reflection with full visibility, mylar ( space blanket material) is great too but it heats up also. the #1 is a box inside a box sort of thing with a air gap between them using these sorts of materials
e if you hide behind a big bush it will find you;
can thermal camera see through windows and walls?
No. Dont buy thermal camera if you want spy on someone from windows or walls 🤣
@@marinelife8707 what should we buy then?
@@user-co8uf1mj6c because will not work for that
that's why you have to brick windows before using thermal scopes.
pog
Ok
Fake
Why you think that ?
@@katakriszTBH bro I don't even remember writing fake.
@@ryanjiva fake
@@katakrisz what kind of material is that?
