The cereal was a bit to thick, but mom and dad are learning just like the baby. But mom was, at least, really paying attention to her son. So many parents just keep forcing their babies to eat no matter how much they gag, choke, and spit it out. I hate seeing parents doing that. Mom did it right.
That was way too thick for his first time eating solids. You’re supposed to make it really runny in the beginning so they get used to the texture and eating from a spoon. You can make it thicker once he’s used to eating it, but what you made looks like paste. It’s no wonder he hates it!!!
The cereal was way to think and then you try to wipe the skin off his face with the cereal. Try thinning the cereal with a little more formula or breast milk and keep a wet wipe next to you to wipe his cute little face
Try adding some cereal to his bottle milk to let him get used to the taste. Then some of his favorite food on half the spoon with the cereal. You’re doing good, just be patient, mom.
The cereal was too thick on the spoon. 2. If he’s apprehensive, as he was, common sense says to put milk on the spoon , then progress to watery cereal, then perhaps he’s a self feeder, tiny finger foods.
Stai sbagliando, Devi dare da mangiare al bambino anche le cose che non le piacciono facendo in modo che il cucchiaio entri in bocca completamente non soltanto assaggiarlo
You know it might seem cold but when they act like that about food i say put their ass down and theyll start to figure out when your hungry you eat whats put in front of you!!! I think kids need to be schooled at an early age about the facts of life!!! See im old school and i turned out just fine!!!
Pointlessly upsetting baby. For what? 5 months is too early for solids - wait for 6m. What's the rush? He plainly deosn't want to eat so don't force him. The fact he tries to pull away and is crying might be some kind of a clue!
Pediatricians say 4-5 months now. Kids actually have fewer allergies if they start younger. The parents were fine to try solids out, most infants his age take to it right away.

True. I agree.
What a cute baby! You guys are such warm, loving parents sensitive to your baby's needs!
He's not ready ,,, he's adorable.
He definitely says that is not my food

The cereal was too thick.. It should be more liquid
He is not ready plus the cereal was thick
he probably would have ate if u did not have it so thick. how did u not see that
It's too thick for the first time. You've go to think about texture also
Lin Try. Your absolutely right , im sure she finally noticed that .
Looks too young. Head bobbing around. These pstents need to comfort this baby. But they let him cry. He needs comfort.
They didnt leave the baby to cry they picked him up

WTH are you talking about???? Most parents use the spoon to get what's on baby's mouth.
Way too thick! Should be pretty liquidy.
Cute
Byg baby nice🥰😍🥰🥰
I think the baby just did not want to stay in the chair. They probably should have given him the milk in the chair.
TheRivrPrncess I personally don't think the chair is the issue here. The baby's pulling away and arching his back is his way of saying 'yuck!'
Make cereal thinner
Too thick

Never start with anything sweet... This is what happens...
Rice cereal is always their first solid food.
Non mangia volentieri forse non ha fame o non gli piace
Stai sbagliando, Devi dare da mangiare al bambino anche le cose che non le piacciono facendo in modo che il cucchiaio entri in bocca completamente non soltanto assaggiarlo
Don’t give in😲 keep giving it to her. She’s got to get use to it.
Forcefeed him then, according to you? Why such a combative approach? You are dealing with a baby! Have a heart!
She has to get used to it, but it might be better to put it away for now and give her a little more at the next feeding.
Baby does not know how to eat and move the food around his mouth. No wonder he hated it.
Riiiiight.....because you are supposed to teach babies how to eat........
It's an instinct........smh
Another cry baby!!!

She did not force him. She just tried a couple of times and then took him out of the seat.
