Viral Sessions: Ireland in Poland Anniversary Edition / Mouse in the Kitchen / Ingonish / The Kesh

United despite the distance, above borders and differences, Viral Sessions is a collaborative folk music and dance project, an inclusive, informal gathering of artists from all over the globe.
In partnership with the Embassy of Ireland in Poland, to mark its 30th anniversary and everything that brings us closer together, we give you Viral Sessions: Ireland in Poland Anniversary Edition.
This is a very special chapter that unites all the wonderful volunteers of our Irish traditional music and dance from the Polish community like never before.
One of our aims is to support the amazing groups performing in the country, send out their names and their art into the world. This is an undertaking unique in its scale, plurality, playfulness and also, as all our productions, a universal goal - to warm people's hearts, lift their spirits and cheer them up in the troubling moments of isolation caused by the global pandemic and beyond!
The Viral Sessions initiative started with a spontaneous video made in 48 hours, a gathering of isolated artists willing to perform together and share their passion for the St. Patrick's Day, March 2020. In a viral response, the unbelievable feedback and collective energy led us to the creation of Chapter 2, a grand, global collaborative project of 141 people, six of the Earth's continents performing together.
Ireland in Poland Anniversary Edition is a creation of 168 artists united under in a session spirit of togetherness who played and danced their hearts out for you in a set of traditional Irish jigs.
What we did here is absolutely magical! We can't thank you enough! You, people, are wonderful!
