At 1:47 you write the karyotype of Robertsonian translocation (46+21) At 4:15 you write the karyotype of carrier of Robertsonian translocation (45 xx) there explanation for each. please more clarify.

Dear college parent with translocation 45 chromosome baby will be 46 in number but actually 47 as there is one chromosome translocated to other so counted as one.. But they actually 2

Robertsonian translocation
The number of chromosome is 46 or 45

Translocation mutations keep the same number of chromosomes, it is only translocation, no change in the actual number. The answer is 46 not 45
