- Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS) is a neurosurgical procedure involving the placement of a medical device called a neurostimulator, which sends electrical impulses, through implanted electrodes, to specific targets in the brain. Parkinson's problems like trembling hands, difficulty in walking, and stiffness can be treat by deep brain stimulation surgery. Deep brain stimulation surgery is done with minimal risks and complications.
