love the video I work in a big bank and a student account is good in the short term but once you graduate the rates on the overdrafts are increased extortionately to make up for the three years low interest thanks for this vid im finishing college soon so these vids help x

I have a question though - im from south Manchester and im not sure if I wanna move away and go to Bristol or stay in MCR but go in accommodation, have u got any opinions/ advice? Id love to be able to experience a new city like you have, but at the same time Manchester might be the smarter choice in case something goes badly
I’d personally move away from home to get the whole uni experience and explore new places x
1st year can be a reality check but Give it time and you still start to enjoy your time at Manchester metropolitan university.
Hey!! Isn’t the architecture school of Manchester called “Manchester School of Architecture (MSA)”?? The one jointed with the MMU?? Or is there another one in the UoM?? I want to study architecture in Manchester too, though I’m a bit confused…

I’d say there are defo other unis with a lot more black people but overall the acs is pretty good

Everyone is generally nice because they’re all there for the same reason which is to meet friends x
hi! i’ll be joining msa in september for architecture and trying to figure out what equipment will be good - what laptop do u/ur coursemates use? and would an ipad be useful?
Audrey M I had a Lenovo but I kept crashing. Half had MacBooks and half standard laptops. Just make sure it can handle photoshop, indesign and sketchup for first year. Preferably with a i5 processor or upwards

Hi I enjoyed your video! I'm a guy who ended up getting accommodation at Ashburne Hall. I've heard that the hall is mainly girls. Do the guys and girls ever talk to each other at all in the hall or are they always in their seperate wings?

Styles I’d say just put yourself out there during freshers, like everyone is in the same position trying to make friends so don’t feel awkward about it. Some people also leave there door open with a door stop on the first few days so they can meet people as they walk past there room. Also join societies x

Eloka I got a had a job as I just transferred locations from my old job luckily, but seeming as it is a large city there should be many job opening but may be competitive as there are a lot of students

Do you have friends who study Computer Science in this university? I’m applying to study this subject but I heard there’re tons of Chinese in this university. I know that in Business School more than 80% of students are Chinese. That’s not cool. So I’m eager to know about the condition in the department of Computer Science. I’m not fond of a class where majority of students are Chinese.
