So, the ship has an intelligent AI that cares about the occupants eyes, but doesnt have the ability to turn on a simple shield that might kill everyone. ight
If you forget to turn on the shields that literally protect the ship from being destroyed and everyone on it from dying, you’re just asking to be killed.
Cillian Murphy, Chris Evans, Cliff Curtis, Rose Byrne, Michelle Yeoh, Hiroyuki Sanada, Benedict Wong, and Mark Strong. Geez, what a loaded cast.
Imagine sending a few ppl to JUMP START the SUN. My lawn mower has a far better chance of jump starting the USS Ronald Reagan. 😂😂😂😂
Well, if you’re going to call it the “Icarus” project 😐…
i dunno why some movies like this always gets sabotages by a random religious dude
This should be easy. They had scorpion and johnny storm
I dont think the people that made this movie understand just how big the Sun is.
I hate how everything goes wrong bc Trey forgot to adjust the shields. HOW DO YOU FORGET SOMETHING LIKE THAT??? His character is supposed to be a genius too...like, I understand something has to go wrong for the movie to happen but it still irritates me lol
Fucking one of the best scientists forgets to turn on SHIP'S SHIELD
they would’ve succeed the mission with no casualty if they just plants the bomb at night
Trust humans to fuck up something as important as re igniting the sun!
The movie is about a team trying to finish a mission and completing tasks, then an imposter sabotage their mission and kills the team one by one.
In regards to the third act; I didn't like it much at first until I re-watched the movie with Brian Cox's commentary (he was the physicist they consulted for the film). He basically shed a lot of interesting light onto the motivations of Pinbacker (Burny McSlice-Slice) and how it did connect overall to the theme of the film which was the sun. From what I remember, he explained that Pinbacker was a scientist and the captain of Icarus 1. He was all about science and the mission at hand. And yet, the closer they got to the sun, the more he lost himself in what is essentially the most powerful force in the universe that we're aware of apart from black holes.
“The Icarus project failed”
"Hey we uh, we need that part to get back home"
The Story recapped videos are my best companions while eating , hands down
icarus : the son of Daedalus who to escape imprisonment flies by means of artificial wings but falls into the sea and drowns when the wax of his wings melts as he flies too near the sun.
Moral of the story: Always have 2 oxygen gardens on your ship.
Welp there’s one thing I’ve learn from movies.
