    Hi just a quick question what high-end High wattage cables would you recommend to charge this and have it charge things I want to get the right cables if you could help me out do they need to be 250 watt cables

    • @TechOut
      @TechOut  Před 2 měsíci

      No this only charges at max 140w so to charge the PowerBank itself a 150w cable or 250w cable will work. 250w is the total output of both ports so they are around 100w each when all in use.

      @RationallySkeptical Před měsícem +1

      @@TechOutCorrection, 140W is only the max for single port charging. You can charge at 170W by using both C ports.

      I guess it would be nice to have in an emergency, but your power bank will last longest when you charge it slower than super fast and not overfill or over-drain it (stay between 20 and 80 percent when possible.) I'd honestly recommend charging with a 67W charger most of the time. That's what I use, with a 100W Anker silicone cable. My 737 still charges in under 2 hrs with this configuration. The 250W Prime may be a little longer, say 2.5hrs.

    Quick Question, how do you charge if you don't have the charging base?

    • @TechOut
      @TechOut  Před 2 měsíci +1

      Both of the USB C ports are inputs. You can actually use both at the same time to charge it at 170W total.

    Great video review on this power bank! Best Buy has this on sale right now, so I bought! I connected it to my laptop and downloaded and installed the Anker app.

    Looking as using this to run a 12v 3a small keyboard (the akai mpc keys 37). Any idea how long I'd get out of this bad boy? It seems like the most powerful option around before going to the UPS 110/220V units

      the adapter that ships w the MPC Key 37 is 12v/3a (5.5x2.1mm center pos) but the Anker batteries suffer at 12v, outputing only 1.5a. Find a power bank (like the UGREEN 20000mAh 100W) that puts out 12v/3a then get a PDC USB C adapter w a chip inside that tells the battery to output 12v (like the NFHK USB 3.1 Type C USB-C Female to DC 12V 5.5x2.1mm Plug Adapter PD Emulator Trigger 90 Degree Angled) Then youll be right in spec. (1.5a might work, idk)

    0:57 Yes, but you still should have at least mentioned what the included cable was rated for in watts. The 737 comes with a 140W charging cable. Is this one also 140W, or did they up it?

    • @TechOut
      @TechOut  Před měsícem

      Pretty sure this one is still 140. But yes using both ports it will charge at 170w
