I'm a Harmonmixer but I hate it when many Mixers say Fifth Harmony girls suck and can't harmonize because ethey clearly can, Little Mix girls might harmonize better but that doesn't mean 5H girls can't, their harmony sounds beautiful too!
Soprano what I mean is when they are trying to harmonize she over singings by doing runs. If she wants it to sound good then she has to try and stay in with them. Yes some parts of the runs sounds good but she needs to slow it down with them

They were an awesome group but I don't think they gel very well together. They are singing alone together. Pentatonix is an example of where no one seeks individual glory and thre is no overdoing individually. When singing in a group, yu must match energies no matter how good you are. You should never get carried away

It’s called an arrangement. In a lot of their songs she would sing lead vocal while the other girls backed her up because she was being pushed as the lead. That wasn’t her choice. There were song where Ally got the chance to sing lead as well, same with Normani. And in those songs Camilla was harmonizing in the background with the others. I’m not sure who arranged most of their covers, but as seen in the video Dinah and Lauren were singing lead vocal while Camila was in the background. They have a cover of Like I’m Gonna Lose You that they arranged themselves and they all got a chance to showcase their vocals in the song.

I get that it wasn't her fault to get more solos in the songs, though. Dinah said in a recent interview that the producers would ask all of them to sing using baby voice and the best one would always get more parts, and Camila's the one who naturally got a baby voice and that's not her fault - the producers were fucking shit holes, though. But Camila couldn't leave a gap alone in the song, she was always improvising adlibs and stuff when, like I said, she already had more than one if not more than two or three solos. It is cute she's creative, but when you're in a group, you gotta respect your team mates' time to shine. There isn't a single song from the time she was in the group that she doesn't sing in. The other girls, on the contrary... In the beginning of the group's career she actually respected the other girls time to sing and cared to harmonize, but I'd say as the time went by she got way too egocentric because of the attention she got from being the privileged one and just started not giving a damn. Camila's Plantains It’s supposed to be like that. They had tension then resolution for the effect of the song. The added one note out of key and then had them change to a note in key. It’s very common when an entire song is harmonized or in chords to add flair and keep it from being boring.
