We are going for a vacation starting 23apr, how is the metro travel, also is there an atm in the airport terminal two? Sim card you sorted out and uber do we have to pay using cash only or my cc will work ?
Hi bro. Best thing is use Uber when in cairo. And use careem when in Luxor . Uber you can choose to pay cash . Metro is not that accessible just use uber simple safe and cheap. There are atm and many banks on airpott for cash exchange. But it better to exchange cash outside airport for better rates . Carry dollars because for dollars u will get best rate and use dollars as u need. Credit card are limited to malls n all CASH WILL BE KING. JUST KEEP LOTS OF DOLLARS

Let me update you on my travel experience to Egypt. As GCC residents, my husband and I traveled to Egypt. Presenting our residency permits (iqama), we smoothly navigated through the visa process. Without sticker visas, we traveled after they saw our exit stamp from Saudi Arabia. However, it's worth noting the airline's requirement for a visa. To meet this requirement, we obtained an e-visa from atyls, saving us $25

I am going to Cairo but some people are scaring me saying the Airport security is a nightmare and they treat you like rubbish. What is the truth.

It was piece of. Cake. If u have seen my vlog. I took visa from bank on arrival. Went to immigration, got stamp. And pick luggage 🧳 and i was out to the customs area. Things to avoid is like if you have Drone or many professional camera 📷. Then. They ask u many questions. Drones are not allowed .. other wise it was all chill.

What documents did they need for the visa? Is this visa on arrival or e visa that u did before going to cairo?
I am from Bahrain 🇧🇭. So when i arrived at Cairo Airport. I had to pay 25 dollars and take sticker visa from bank

There is a black market also like shops, and locals doing the exchange. So if you check bank rate and if they are providing better rates you can. Take. From them as well. The shops i mean.
Banks are usally crowded. Thats the reason
