Ï have never had a minutes trouble with solenoids using Amsoil. Cleanest tranny's inside ever. Had a700 R4 Chevy tyranny go 315K before the 3rd gear clutch failed. AAMCO transmission in Norfolk, Va rebuilt it and they were amazed it got that much mileage before an issue. Most were lucky to get 100K before going out. Chevy got a bad name for that back then. Course mine I altered the cooling from the radiator to two inline coolers on the front of the A/C cooler. The cooler it operates the longer it'll last. Shame I got it with 58K on the truck and that happened not long afterwards. Shop said that was all that I needed as it was in excellent condition. I opted for the complete rebuild since it was out. Why go cheap and have to do something else before long.
