I have not cried in years. I don't feel I can cry anymore. I sometimes get teary over a happy, touching story but not over painful thoughts or experiences.
I get that. I'm the same and I think it comes from not wanting or being able to open the dam because once that happens the flood gates will open and never close. İt's a defence mechanism and really for survival. So it comes out in things which we question like, silly stories or things because it is still there. I couldn't cry properly when my mother died and felt confused and guilty about that. Yet I would cry over something like a TV ad for puppies. 😢 I feel like I'm a highly emotional and over sensitive person but each person expresses in different ways.
And I think for me it comes out via migraine headaches 😕

I cried like that for the first time in over 11 years. It was 2-3 days ago. It's so accurate . I'm crying all the time but I'm also happy and feeling more free. Bitter/sweet. the cry released and got me in touch with so many emotions . I have been going through trauma after trauma and finally it's over but I'm grieving hard.

Your right on!!! I have a care giver who stresses me out more than helping. I called the company and told them and I may not be able to get rid of the caregiver as easy as a caregiver can quit on a client!
Confirmation xx i woke up last Friday cranky... then yesterday someone had been deliberately trying to hide their agenda but came it out yesterday and I was so triggered with her lack of transparency and not being backed up by another friend, so I absolutely did feel like crying yesterday. I thought April was a difficult month... I've a feeling May is going to be trickier to navigate. I'm here for the improvement of humanity but geez people do my head in. xx
