Mango seviyan recipe | Mango vermicelli kheer recipe by Eman Foods
About recipe: Mango Seviyan, also known as Mango Vermicelli or Mango Pudding, is a popular Indian and Pakistani dessert made with vermicelli (thin noodles), mango pulp, milk, sugar, and various aromatic ingredients. It is a sweet and creamy dish that is typically enjoyed during festivals or special occasions in Pakistan and other South Asian countries.
Ingredients:
- 1-2 tablespoon Ghee (Clarified butter)
- 3/4 Cup Vermicelli crushed
- 1 tablespoon Almonds sliced
- 1 tablespoon Pistachios sliced
- 1 Ltr Milk
- 6-8 tablespoon Sugar
- 1 tablespoon Custard powder or as required
- 4 tablespoon Milk
- 1 Cup Mango puree
- Yellow food color few drops (optional)
- 1 Cup Mango chunks
- Mango cubes for garnish as required
- Almonds sliced for garnish as required
Directions:
-In a wok,add clarified butter & let it melt,Add vermicelli,,almonds,pistachios & roast until changes color & it’s fragrant (2-3 minutes) & set aside.
-In a wok,add milk,sugar,mix well & bring it to boil, Add fried vermicelli & cook on medium low flame for 6-8 minutes.
-In a small bowl,add custard powder,milk & whisk well.
-Now add dissolve custard in a wok,mix well & cook until it thickens.
-Add mango puree & mix well,Add yellow food color & mix well.
-Let it cool while stirring at room temperature.
-Add mango chunks & mix gently.
-Garnish with mango, almonds & serve chilled!
